    Game: Academic Challenge
How-To Play: Answer the persons question above and then write your own question. If someone is incorrect, quote them.
Rules: Have real questions you would see in a real school. Ex: 2x+4=9. Any subject allowed. If a question is too hard, like it. Make sure the question does have an answer.
    First Question:

    3x+2y-z=3
    5x+4y+2z=12
    -7x+5y+6z=12

    (x,y,z)=?

Should we also state what grade that question was meant for?
Anyway, imma edit in the answer for the first one if I ever get it, but for my question, it is- what are 3 proofs of continental drift? (8th grade science)

    1) The coastlines of different continents/islands somewhat match up
    2) Native animals live in different areas across an ocean
    3) Durhhhh.... Please quote, I'm not using google this time.

    Q: What is C12H22O11?
(The numbers are supposed to look small and below the letters, this is science and that is a chemical compound)

Because the feather can't exert that force back on you.

    A. There are many answers to 2+2. Most people would say 4; however, that is one of many answers. Example, if you are adding 2+2, it can be goldfish bowl. It can even be 22 (if you're just putting the two numbers together). It even equals a heart if you face them side by side. Like I said, 2+2 pretty much has an infinite number of solutions.

    Q. What is the slope of (-258,602) (1045, -752)?

A: 1.11 (I may be wrong, but I think my math is correct)

Q: Oh you're gonna hate me for this
There is an error in the following equation, find the error and state why it is wrong.
    1 a=b
    2 ab=b^2
    3 ab-a^2=b^2-a^2
    4 a(b-a)=(b+a)(b-a)
    5 a=b+a
    6 a=a+a
    7 a=2a
    8 1=2

Nope, the slope is 150/1303 (non-simplified because I'm too lazy)

You have to use y2-y1 over x2-x1 to find slope.

A slope isn't a decimal number. Even if it was, according to the all majestic calculator, it would be rounded off to 0.12 by dividing 150 by 1303

Edit: For it to be over 1, the numerator needs to be over 1303

Just throwing it out there, the answer is 2 roots because of the fundamental theorem of algebra.
Fundamental theorem of algebra: For every polynomial with degree n, it will have n roots.
Since quadratics always have a degree of 2, they always end up with 2 roots or answers.

A: Most likely I'm wrong, but if I'm right, you cannot add ab and -a^2 because they are not like terms

    They were introduced for hunting.
They are pests because there are 7.2 mil. The species has been directly implicated in the extinction and decline of populations of the Potoroidae family including the extinction of the desert rat kangaroo.
Red Foxes were introduced to the British colonies of Van Diemen's Land (as early as 1833) and the Port Phillip District and Sydney Regions of New South Wales (as early as 1845).
