How to SG - Winning and Looting

    This is a SG guide put together by me. It will teahch new SGers the basics and the advanced tips.

    Looting: do not go for mid. Half the time you can't get there fast enough to get much. You pick a direction, run that way, and get as many chests that are that way. Depending on your pvp, there are two paths to take.

    - Chesting - slower, and less effective, but safer. Chesting means to run to chests and avoid other players.

    - Fighting - faster, much more effective, but risky. This also gives you the most loot. Killing players gives you all that they have, and coins. With coins buy kits, and that will help even more.

    Fighting: for people who can't pvp: when you find someone, get a sword out, and sprint to one side of them while hitting them. It's called a strafe. If someone strengths, you can beat them by strafing most of the time.

    Death math - arrange your inventory like so: sword, bow( if not pots), pots till slot 8, then gapples, then more pots of tnt if possible. Get speed on first thing. Avoid anything except 1v1s.

    I usually go for mid, at least you have a chance to get a sword for defending yourself.

    Agreed with @18kss. I usually get swords from mid, and you can get a lot of kills and coins early-game if you do.

    Even with the strafing, I still kind of find fighting people with strength to be a little op. Especially if the opponent has an iron or diamond sword. Depending on the armor, strength can get someone one shot or two shot. It's just my opinion but I don't really care for the strength in SG.

    Literally the bane of my existence and all other people with no kits. In some cases, I can see where strength can be even more over powered then Notch Apples

    I thought that gapples were the only thing that can balance out strength II but not anymore. :/ I've outhit many gapples and I'm starting to agree that strength II is overpowered.

    You can't really describe strafing like that, it won't help anybody if they don't know how to do it.

    Agreed strafing is something you learn by watching and doing theres no real dictionary definition

    Nah, If you wanna win, Have Loads of Strength 2! :grinning: 90% arent good, they just use strength and gapples :I

    How to get a sword
    Step 1: No-Life Sg For 2 hours to get 500 coins
    Step 2: Buy Warrior I
    Step 3: Select Warrior kit
    Step 4: Get sword
    Step 5: No go middle


    Easy as that. :I
