Hardcore Games complete noob guide to the game .

So i saw the guide posted in here was completely irrelevant and was posted one month ago ( it was irrelevant then also ) So i decided to make an actual one based of the current state of the Gamemode .

SOUP / NO SOUP
Before you even join a HG server you will have to select if you wish to play with or without the implementation of soup ( soup heals you for 3,5 hearts and is instantly eaten ) this means fights last a lot longer and are more skill reliant rather than who gets the jump on who , if you wish to improve your skills you can practice on the worlds buggiest server KitBrawl . If on the other hand your slow and cant keep up with all the soup PvPing kids you can play on the no soup HG servers which are the same with the exception of the soup instantly healing so its heavily reliant on luck and being sneaky , this is why its a noobs best shot at getting a win . (Also note that some kits can not be access on no-soup servers as opposed to Soup . )

PREGAME
After you have selected what server to play on you will be directed to a hub area , if you move straight forward after spawning you will run into an arena where you can duke it out with other people to get warmed up for the upcoming PvP , if you are on a soup server you get a hotbar of soup and you gain 4 soup per kill you get in the arena , if you are on a no soup server ( you can tell by a bowl in your 9 slot which if on a soup server will be full and on a nosoup empty ) so anyways if you are on a no soup server in the arena you will be given a hotbar of splash health potions and again gain 4 of them upon killing another player , if you see on the righhand side of your screen a list will appear once you enter the arena and it will display how many kills each player has gotten , once the match starts the person with the most kills will receive an iron sword as a token of gratitude from Brawl for being on their servers and being good . I also strongly suggest you pick a kit before the game starts , to pick i kit you can just do /kit ingame or right click the kit selection item .

ONCE THE GAMES COMMENCE
Once the pregame period ends you will be teleported to the map in which the HG game will take place , on your screen a countdown will appear from 5 to 1 ( 1 signifying the beginning of the actual match ) You will recieve a grace period of 2 minutes in which time you should always make soup and a sword . If in a soup server run to the nearest soup biome ( Swamp , Jungle , Desert these are written in order of where to prioritize going to ) Once you get there start collection soup materials ( Mushrooms , Cocoa beans , Cacti ) which turn in to (each type of mushroom + bowl = 1 soup , 1 Cocoa bean +bowl = soup and 2 cacti + 1 bowl = 1 soup ) . I usually gather at least 15 / 20 soup but what ever float your boat is ok . Now after this it gets tricky , unless you have a preplanned strategy you will just have to wing it , id love to be able to make a guide about what happens in the HG games but its just so unpredictable that there is no way to prepare you for all the possibilities , ITS YOUR TIME TO SHINE .
Now if you are in a no soup server you should make sure to get a stone sword since you wont have to go threw the hassle of collecting soup making materials unless you have a strategy like towering for example were you will prioritize getting blocks to tower up . Again there is not much to write about after your grace period ends unless i describe a certain strategy which again is very dependent of the ingame situation .

Remember the beauty of the Hardcore Games is that is the same gamemode but a different story every time , you will in time learn to deal with the vast majority of players and strategies you will encounter , but i guarantee you will never in your life experience a game like this ANYWHERE !! Minecraft really is an amazing sandbox game that has led to the creation of this gamemode , its also inspired by the amazing movie / book trilogy The Hunger Games which i have watched / read all of and enjoyed very much , if you intend to play its a must even though its not very relevant to ingame anymore .
