    So, when you go onto like the thingy that pops up when you click on someones name, if it's a staff member, there's no indication that it's them. So I've got a few things I could suggest to make it more obvious:

    1.Add the colours (e.g Green for dev, red for admin and so on) to the popup.

    2. Remove Custom Titles and replace it with tags, for example a normal person would be Member, and a dev would have Developer and so on.

    3. Have the forums rank tags (like the Administrator thing with red backround) beside their name.

    This is just because some people that need help wouldn't realise they are a staff member.

    What is this "thingy" you speak of?
    1. What popup do you speak of?
    2. Remove custom titles? HowAboutNo.gif
    3. There are already forum rank tags?
    I do not like your suggestions. They are unclear and I dislike one of them.

    That's cause I suck at explaining things xD.

    What I mean, is add them on the popup thingy when you click on someones name. Although that is the suggestion I dislike most out of all.

    And why not remove custom titles?

    I think the better question is, why disable something that is popular with the forum community? Why disable it when there are already forum ranks to distinguish staff, wiki, and retired staff members? Why disable custom titles when doing so would serve absolutely no point?

    Because Custom Titles server no point, do they? It's more clear when you actually have what rank you are below, rather than 'MLG PRO' or whatever stupid name someone has come up with . Custom titles can also be abused by someone writing 'Admin' on it, which would cause some confusion, and generally waste peoples time.

    Custom titles allow us regular members to have some freedom of expression, to instantly share short quotes or messages with the community. Why should such a feature be removed if we have been using custom titles for almost two years? Removing custom titles would only anger the community (including me), remove some of our freedom to express ourselves, and serve no real point. Just because it looks stupid to you, doesn't mean it looks stupid to everyone else.

    This is not a good reason to remove them. There is an official admin tag that makes an admin easily identifiable.

    And I am giving my opinion on the matter. Isn't that one of the reasons for a forum? To participate and discuss topics with other members of a community?

    I don't see how this could be a problem. To get to the mentioned pop-up you need to click on a users profile picture and the banners below the profile picture already indicate what rank the user has.
    Custom titles are very popular and I don't see why they should be removed.

    How about this:
    We keep the current tags we have (colour coded to our name), and with the user pop-up we add the colours as well.

    This would solve all the problems and it shouldn't be hard to implement.

    Agreed , suggestions need to be reviewed before being posted to insure that others will have understanding . Even if what he said was good no one really understands the vague description given .

    This sounds too common sense.....they'll find a way to mess it up. Cough, cough....haven't fixed the clan glitch in 7 months.
