    Build Tutorial 3: Cliffs/Ridges
Another aspect of building which I will be going into is terraforming. I'll start off by talking about cliffs/ridges. This will be hand terraformed, and won't require too much worldedit besides the cliff itself. I'll be doing a transformation of a cliff like the first tutorial.

To start off, here's what a basic cliff/ridge in worldedit typically looks like. It's pretty bland, and could definitely use some touching up, especially if it exists on a large scale.

The first thing I'm going to do is to bring the grass/block on top of your ridge out by about 1-3 blocks. Be sure to not really repeat, and randomize instead. EX: Drag it out 1 block in one spot, and 3 blocks in another. Keep in mind the taller your cliff/ridge, the more you'd want to drag the grass out.

Next, start connecting the extended grass with stone as shown above. Be sure to meet around halfway from the ground.

Keep following your pattern of going into the wall.

    Example: (G=Grass S=Stone O= Original wall depth)

    GGGoGG
    SSSoSS
    SSoSS
    SSoSS
    SoSS

After that, add some block variety into the wall as such. Make sure to also add a layer of dirt/similar that's about 2-3 blocks below the grass (coarse dirt, granite, dirt)

Try the following blocks when you do variety so if you're original wall is stone.

    Andesite (1:5)
    Cobblestone (4:0)
    Gravel (13:0)
    Cyan clay (159:9)

After this, your wall should be finished. Be sure to account for size, as I made my ridge pretty small, but you can go a lot bigger.

Nice guide, as always. If I ever get into building, I'll be using these to begin learning how to not be crap at it.

You should put links to your other guides in the post, like a directory.

    Then I don't have to search for #2 ;-;.
