    As the games goes, I have noticed that the AWP (M40A3) Tier II sniper rifle does alot more damage than the Tier III MSR sniper rifle. Do you think the damage on the MSR should be fixed? On the wiki it claims the AWP does an initial 75 base damage and the MSR does 100, This is not true as I can one shot freshspawns with the awp and not with the msr while they are both not headshots. I have done some weapons testing on some fellow friends and the AWP does 5 hearts to a full iron on the body and 9 hearts for a headshot while the MSR doesn't do as much (Didn't test it out so far) but I can predict it does considerably less. The MSR may hold 20 shots at a time before a reload and the AWP only 5, is this perhaps the reason? What are your thoughts and opinions? This is my first post let's be nice guys :smile:

    Msr shoots faster. Nothing needs to be fixed but the wiki

    MSR has a larger clip and much faster fire rate. For long range the MSR is superior because of its clip and fire rate. Whilst the AWP has a better damage for close quarter fighting and comboing

    I agree but perhaps the AWP should be moved to Tier III and MSR downgrades to Tier II, that can be an option to help relieve new players on the confusion as most would think the higher the tier, the more the damage.

    No. Msr is more tactical and the damage difference is not as much as you think. MSR can oneshot new spawns, I've done it. It has a faster firerate and can keep an enemy's health down low for enough time for you to pull out a shotgun, and if they're far away you can just keep shooting to get the kill.

    Damage doesn't determine everything you know.

    Fire rates are different as for the wiki maybe you should alert a member of the wiki team about this, because I do agree that the awp does more initial damage per shot than the msr.

    Possibly make AWP tier III and add a new sniper to take its place, and then have two Tier III's, like there are AK and P90, M16 and Uzi, etc...

    Overall the MSR deals more damage per second:
    MSR= 86 shots per minute x 75 = 6450 damage per minute.
    AWP= 43 Shots per minute x 100 = 4300 damage per minute.

    Overall the MSR has a higher damage rate and a larger clip.
