Mc-warz Extensive amount of Cheats

It's hard to crack down on every hacker/cheater because even very popular players use cheats like X-ray, macros, tracers, or other small game changing advantages.

 

On a server I used to play there was a thing called scanning. You would share screens with staff over a plugin the Developer made. They would tell you what to search for where to go on your pc and such to scan for hacks. Many people were banned that way. If you logged in the middle of the scan or declined you would be banned. If you confessed you would get a shorter ban. I don't get why other servers don't do this, but I can see big servers not doing it because of the amount of players. On WarZ however there aren't too many players. Not saying this would work for Brawl, but maybe someone could come up with something better.

 

The quicker way to get cheaters banned is slack. The MODs are always watching, and upon being informed of a potential cheater will hop on and find out.

PracticeZ had a FP/Macros plugin, it detected who was shooting really fast and banned them for however much time their "flags" suggested which they acquired by shooting their guns at various speeds.
Then again, FP/Macros isn't a really big problem anymore so this would be sort of useless.

 

Basically there's a hacker for every single game :L

 

Macros are a huge problem so many 'skillful' players use them and people actually think they're good when all they do is click a button and execute a perfect combo. You probably don't even notice, because there are really popular players that have obvious macros even in their montages and no one says anything.

 

Can't really tell if people are macroing or not unless you're vv10 <---

Well, they do their best to get all hackers banned, it's harder than you think.

In my opinion there are less WarZ hackers now compared to the rape year and month. April 2014.
I've only caught 4 hackers this week, that's nothing compared to back then. Every person I came across back then would either fastplace, godmode, timer and forcefield. I didn't really record as often as I do now.
The only place worse then WarZ with hackers every block though. :

I know I've caught a hacker on HCG but the file became corrupt so ;-;. There were a few on Mc-War. There were practically none on ctf well when I played. (I've played ctf way longer then when I played WarZ. Memories I still wreck havoc though.)
The only thing common for me to check is forcefield/killaura/WarZ eat/Blink.
I've gotten 2 people banned for it, well because they were afk and forgot to turn it off. Oi any mvps with warz eat and you forget to turn off your WarZ eat when you go afk with me on the server. Good luck.

If you mean the japs. Then yeah. One of them made it way to obvious. But that made me realise who the first person to use barret/spas/m10 was though.

I know what Eso is talking about, I myself do not see too many hackers now a days but that's just me. I think the ride along rule helps and has helped for a long time. But what about all of he hackusating, that's still VERY obnoxious. I've been accused and my allies have been accused multiple times. Even when they're 99.9% clean. Anyways back on-topic, I don't think hacking and glitching is too big of an issue anymore tweety, my biggest issue is team vs. team drama. BTW, welcome back.

 

Ok, I take back what I said about less hackers now. Everywhere I go, some guy 360 hits me with a sword.
