Well... I'm not really blaming that many staff in this, especially the McPvP staff are pretty awesome and I haven't seen any one of them do what I'm about to say. Saying this... there are plenty of epic Brawl staff as well, I don't doubt their work, plus I'm not going to talk about them being lazy, it's what many people are complaining about, corrupted staff. I've NEVER gone across this issue ever, but I've heard too many of my friends complaining about this. I'm not trying to completely change how the staff works, but it's simply a suggestion or something to consider. The same way players have limitations, staff should have limitations as well. I already know Jmods are being watched over, but there should be like a proper system for if some staff member abuses their rank, and it should be dealt with severely. Not only for the players sake. but for the server, abusing you rank will definitely effect the server's reputation. And I'm sure no players want to be abused by staff members. Also if a player is abused some SMod+ should contact them in any way to apologize for the problem, this will avoid 'loudmouths' from always complaining, and causing rumors to go everywhere. I have no idea of the staff system, I've never been a staff member so I don't want to act like I'm such a high position, but I think something should be done about this. Which leads me to another thing...

I always see staff members correcting misconceptions and pretty much doing their jobs. I have absolutely no problem with this except for the fact that, they pretty much seem like... robots... most always say that "Please report hackers at https://www.brawl.com/report/". I'm fine with the staff member telling another player to report a hacker but...

    1. I reallllyyyy doubt that person is going to report the hacker, he/she's probably annoyed with the hacker.
    2. That's basically saying "Report them', and that could be offensive to that player (in most cases is an idiot) and is like "DO IT YOURSELF AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO BE BANNING HACKERS?!".
    3. /report, messaging a staff member, or using Slack is honestly a way more better way...
    4. In some cases that player could be joking.
    5. If someone says something like "haxxx", you should just ignore it, but the player is like "jomama101 is hacking!" then the staff member should take action.

This is probably why you see staff members who are chill/funny being liked more (no offense no offense no offense no offense no offense no offense).

I hope you consider this, and please don't take this offensively :V.

If a staff member clearly abused their powers, they will be warned and watched closely in future. @Cuddled is taking care of this and handling any kind of staff abuse. I agree that it would be better if we always contacted the involved players and apologized.

If we act like robots, thats because the problems we run into every day are always similar. Unfortunately we have to answer the same questions and explain the same rules over and over again, so if it looks like we act like robots, please understand that always doing the same thing isn't much fun. However, just saying "Please report hackers at https://www.brawl.com/report/" is also not the right way to deal with this. They should first warn the user not to publicy accuse others of hacking and PM a staff member instead. Then they should explain the possible ways to report rule breakers.
If the accuse seems to be serious, Mod+ can check the player and JrMods can talk to the accusing player, figure out how serious he is and then record the accused player.

Honestly, if a player says "hacks" or "HAX", and just about anything along those lines, I will use the "report hackers at..." just for reference. If the player says "randomsoandso is hacking!!11!" I will definitely look into it. If I know a player who's serious that says someone is hacking, I will PM them asking them who, in which I will watch them.

I believe I'm pretty chill, especially in teamspeak, and I think that's what most mods need. However, there's a difference between chill and lazy. What's important is showing temperance. You need to balance your desires with responsibilities as a staff member. This is what some of them need to understand.
