    I am not so sure if anyone has come up with an idea like this already, but here I am with one.

    HOLDIDAY THEMED MAPS:
    We all know Halloween is coming up soon, and that Christmas is coming up in the next few months. I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool to play maps based on the time of season or holiday it was? Even changing the weather for seasons would be cool.

    MAPS:

    It would be neat to see a map made off of a giant haunted house filled with traps and hiding spots to catch your enemy off guard. Or for Christmas, Santa's Workshop or a whole North Pole. Easter, a large field with a bunch of holes leading to an underground room with eggs laying everywhere. While I have never made a map, it would be neat to see maps like these.

    WEATHER/TIME CHANGES:

    It would also be cool to have weather go along with the season you're in. I know that this is close to impossible considering players live everyehere in this world and seasons are always different. If only they could change based off of your location...Let's say, in the summer time, it is all sunny and stuff. Fall, it can be cloudy. Winter, it can be snowing. Spring, occasional rain. It can also go along with real time (darn world with different times).

    TEXTURE PACKS:

    I already know that people will more than likely make packs specially for the holiday specific to the month it is in. But this would be a cool idea if the owners of the server released a special pack and stuff.

    CHRISTMAS BONUS:

    Maybe, on Christmas day, depending on the time zones the owners live in, there could be a special double XP day. It could be a present from the owners saying thanks for everything we do to this community.

    Tell me what you guys think of this. I know that this isn't really the best idea, but it's almost holiday season and I figured I should post this to see what others have to think. Thanks for reading!!!

    There's already a map for Chinese New Year. It's callled castleshuri.

    Sounds good, but these maps will rarely be used. Frankly sounds like more effort than it's worth, but I support the double xp for sure :stuck_out_tongue:

    Instead of making all new maps, why not just add decorations to old maps?
    I could work with other players and make an official holiday themed pack.
    I like this idea!

    I like the double xp. But the maps will only be used once a year so its to much effort for little fruit.

    I may try to make Christmas editions for different maps, I was thinking about it before but now that I know people are for It I might give it a shot.

    You can figure out what time zone someone is in, just grab their ip! It can at least be corresponding to the time of day they're in, with the option to manually change it.

    You can't gravedig server ideas that haven't been officially denied. Just ask putty or Brawler and they'll say so too.
