ok why are there emeralds

    ive been playing hg for a long time but yesterday i saw those emerald structures
    why? do they serve any purpose?

    It was a custom biome mcpvp I think made before the demise. I think brawl is planning on making new biomes.

    If you're talking about the emeralds in the jungle, that could be for XP, but the real reason MCPVP put them in is not known

    It is, well if you're a sea creature, it's kinda obvious, who wants the emeralds the most and who has the best items in the chests? GUESS IT OUT!

    If you're talking about the emeralds which spawn in the jungles, they don't really serve too much of a purpose other than aesthetics. You can mine them for experience and for usage in trading with villagers, but personally I'd see something like lapis be much more useful.

    suggestion
    find emeralds
    /trade
    buy crap for emeralds
    done

    or instead of the other structures that gave you diamonds for going grappler and getting there quickest, have shops that sell different things around the map

    Find Jungle -> Go wisp -> Collect emeralds -> Spawn wisp's -> Right click wisp's until you find a good trade
