    In 1.8, you normally need lapis lazuli to enchant now (some servers change it so you don't need lapis, not sure what Brawl does). However, lapis lazuli doesn't spawn in the map right now, and I think that should be changed. If it did, it'd mean people who mine for items or kill other people who mine are able to enchant, whereas people who tower and do practically nothing can't enchant as easily.

    I'm guessing there's a glitch with that considering that there was a huge problem with how things generate, I guess maybe we could stick with the no-lapis plan, and enchant like 1.7 . I guess we just have to wait till normal generation of the world comes, there's nothing else really to do.

    It does, I found them a few times already. I think it should spawn in jungles instead of the emeralds

    They should either replace the emeralds in jungles with lapis or build it into the enchantment tables, because, frankly, no one wants to dig to y30 just for lapis.

    They need to code it so that you don't need lapis to enchant o; (Probably just a bug)

    A simpler solution would be to just integrate lapis into the enchanting tables, but I do like the idea of changing the emeralds in the jungles with them and increasing spawn rates of them. This would make the "miner" play style possibly more powerful as they'd be able to enchant instead of the others.

    Yeah, that's what most other servers do. I actually forgot about that! Making it so that lapis is automatically in the enchantment table would probably be the most plausible option.
