    To the admins and coders: I cannot emphasise how important it is to fix crits and sword damage. Do you want to know how mad certain people can get at getting 2 shotted? I'm one to keep my cool very well, but getting 2 shotted over and over again is pissing me off. What about those who are known to rage a lot? They will play one game, get 2 shotted and leave, and I'm not exaggerating at all. You MUST fix crits as soon as possible, I repeat, fix crits AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Here is what it should be:

    Wood Sword+Gold Sword: 2 hearts a hit, 2.5 hearts a crit. (Currently: 2.5 hearts a hit, 3.5 hearts a crit)

    Stone Sword: 2.5 hearts a hit, 3 hearts a crit

    (+half a heart to each per sword tier)

    BEFORE ANYONE LOCKS THIS: This isn't a bug report. Crits have been reported 1927391264 times before, and I know that. This is a thread to EMPHASIZE on the need to fix it, which is 100% necessary

    Its because McPvP had a global crit nerf which nerfed crits on all of its gamemodes - Brawl doesn't have that. It shouldn't be too hard to implement, especially if Nom still has the code that he used on McPvP.

    Coders or staff in general are working a lot and very hard on future updates for War and WarZ, so this problem may not be fixed "now" like you have requested.

    The coder working on McPvP gamemodes isn't working on the other upcoming projects, as far as I know. And if Brawl's ever going to achieve the impossible and revive HG, they're going to have to nerf crits.

    The "NOW" is not a request. It's a wake up call to Brawl. Why is HG not gaining many new players? Crits are broken. Why are new players quitting HG so fast? Crits are broken. Whether they choose to wake up or not after this, it's up to them.

    To be honest I like the new crits - people have gotten used to them, and it allows for more "strategy" in games. Now instead of running around and killing everyone you see, it is more rewarding to play defensively and mine. This is better for new players (who mainly just go mining in the beginning), as a full iron with no soup can easily take out a guy with soup, yet if you are good at pvp you can kill the full iron. Also, people have gotten quite good since mcpvp moved to brawl, so if the crits were nerfed, people would use most of their soups, so the victor wouldn't really get any reward as well as being able to be cleaned-up easily. Just my opinion, don't hate on me :grinning:

    btw stone swords can't 2 shot - stone sword crit does max 4.5 hearts, meaning that you get 3 shot (unless you lag) and if you meet an iron sword guy just spam-eat soups and you should be able to kill them

    Iron sword on an armorless player is 2-shot with crits, but I don't know of many other 2-shot situations

    I don't play Brawl HG because of how long the wait times are, but if you can 2 shot anyone the best strategy would be going round and 2 shoting everyone before they get any decent gear.

    Exactly my point. This causes new players to leave quickly, no one likes to die every game from 2 shots. Besides, an iron sword can be obtained from getting the most kills, so that's a 2 shotting weapon eight therethere

    I haven't played for like a month because of crits, to be honest I probably won't even start playing when they are fixed. If brawl is smart they'll fix crits before more people take the same route I do

    3 months since the purchase and my once favorite game ( of 3 years) is in ruins. I don't want a try hard to quote that and say that HG is in beta and everything will be fixed and perfected because It likely won't. I like many others thought that this purchase might be able to do something for HG. I've since given up because not much has been changed since the beta was first introduced. I have no confidence in brawl due to the fact that warz or whatever its called was promised 2 years ago or something like that.

    We're 3 months in since the purchase and a simple yet IMPORTANT mechanic has not even been fixed. If they can't even fix that then what makes you think they can revive a gamemode? I can guarantee you that crits will be fixed within another week now but it doesn't matter. HG is gone

    For those of you like @MattM1PVP who still stick with HG, I commend you and hope that HG is perfected again for you guys.

    Feel free to prove me wrong.
