Should this kit affect other entitys aswell or only players?

    The kit Velocity
    Right click your item to reverse your velocity, left click to reverse other peoples velocitys in a 14.5 block radius.

    No cooldown, but you lose 1.5 hearts each time you use your ability. [Damage stacking logic below, read it!]

    Examples:
    1. You are falling in a ravine, click your item to go back up.
    2. Got knocked by a grandpa? Reverse your velocity to get back!
    3. Someone chasing you? Reverse their velocity and slow them down a bit!



    Changes/added details in the kit (the raw, original idea is seen above):

    The spam- counter

    When you use your kit, a timer is set off from 3.5 seconds. You can't see the timer. The timers time will decrease only when there is ground at least 1 block below you (so that the time will decrease also when jump-sprinting). The damage is 0.5 hearts higher each time you use your ability if the timer does not reach 0. (So first the damage is 1.5, then 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5...) The time is set to 3.5 seconds each time you use your kit, even if you used it without timer reaching 0.

    The falldamage
    Your potential falldamage resets when you use this kit. Should clear things up.

    Launch logic
    You are sent back with the power required to make it to the last block you were standing on. If you are simply sprinting/sprint-jumping it just reverses your velocity. These rules apply to other players as well.

    Should this kit be added?

    Cool! A bit complicated though, is it like a grappler kinda and you just head back to where you were, say, the last time you got hit? Although this does seem like ninja.

    Another problem is, there would be multiple glitches. For example, if you fall a distance and you use your ability, I think it'd be fall dmg for days then.

    Also, it's a bit similar to ninja, the only opposite idea is slowing down your enemies and when you fall into a ravine, you get out in a way.


    Still I think it's a very unique idea! So +.5

    Not really that op, it's like ninja but with a bit of slowness attached to it

    How far up do you go?

    So it does some anti-knockback and slows people down? I don't understand what this kit is supposed to do.

    I understand that it should reverse gravity, but I don't understand how reversing gravity slows people down and minimizes knockback

    Do you know what velocity is? It reverses your velocity. Find out the word and you will understand =)
    Ninja tps to the person, but yeah, I can see your point. Lots of glitches? Talk about endermage... Long story short: Glitches can be fixed =)

    How far up? Well, The same amount of blocks you fell. Fall 20 blocks and go 5 in positive x, it will send you flying 20 blocks up and 5 in negative x. I actually had a problem with this; should it really just reverse your velocity or send you back the same amount of blocks, and I ended up with the idea of same amount of blocks. The idea obviously needs some tweaks, but that is why you people comment here, right?

    But knowing brawl ATM, glitches won't be fixed right away for kits.

    "The same amount of blocks". Same meaning? The distance you travelled in the last 5 seconds or what? And does this nullify fall damage?

    The distance you travelled airbone, and the falldamage begins to count from the point your upwards velocity runs out.

    But what if someone uses the ability while running on ground?

    I recommend you click the item once, and it saves the coords you're at. Click it again, and you move back there. Maximum of 5 seconds in between clicks?

    EDIT: I'm sorry I'm kinda being harsh, I really like this kit and want it to be perfect if it's implemented

    If you use it on ground, then it will actually reverse your velocity, for example, if you are running 5 blocks per 1 second, and you click it, it will send you backwards at that speed. Of course, it won't be much, but I think you get the point. And your idea is basically checkpoint, wich is already in the game. And this doesn't need a cooldown since you lose 1.5 hearts each time you use it. +You are not being harsh imo

    Let me clear myself up here: When I said you would travel the same amount of blocks, I kinda expressed myself wrong. I meant that you get launched with the power required to go back. So if you keep going foward and it sends you backwards, the backwards momentum will be decreased because you are moving in the opposite direction. I might do a video illustrating this later on.

    I like the idea, the 1.5 hearts per use makes it so it's not spammable (at least in no soup). I'm just trying to think of how practical it would be. It'd be good for running people away from you, running people off cliffs, and possible save yourself from a fall, but other than that I'm not sure.

    Umm.... No thanks. I can just imagine the feast winner trying to take down a tower and reversing their velocity every time they fall off the tower and souping right after. Plus, it basically combines grappler, ninja, and phantom into one kit, not to mention the the bugs that would come with it. This kit would have to be eliminated from soup entirely or have a 2 minute cool-down at least.

    The fall damage would make reversing your velocity still kill you, not negate it. I can see what you mean by it being a similar mobility kit, but you couldn't use it to catch someone or run away really, you could only switch the direction you were going. Even then, you'd still need a running start to get somewhere after you switch velocities.

    Still, it would make towering Very Hard to do for other players, since you could reverse your velocity, mlg water, and kill the people in the tower without having to worry about falling off the tower. Plus, it would eliminate phantom because this kit doesn't have a cooldown, and this kit can do even more than phantom can do anyway.

    However, I do think this hit is a cool idea, it just needs to be nerfed from the original idea. For example, if you could only change the velocity of other players, not yourself, then this could eliminate the problems stated above.

    Towering in that sense would be pretty riskless, but if you put a block where the player was after you knock the guy off, he can't get up so easily. "Plus, it basically combines grappler, ninja, and phantom into one kit" Explain. And eliminated from soup? Why? That you can basically fight against your own kit damage and then have to fight?

    Eliminate Phantom? HOW? Hypotetical situation: Phantom begins to fly away. You reverse his velocity, doesn't do much, either the phantom is far away (1.8 flyspeed is pretty high), or he is just beginning the flight, you do it once, twice, third time, maybe 4th time, now the phantom has to stay in, you lost 6 hearts in total. I tought about damage being higher if you spam it, but I didn't add it (yet). I could say you can negate phantom entirely with fisherman (keep pulling the phantom in). "and this kit can do even more than phantom can do anyway." umm, phantom can fly, this kit can go up if you fell in the first place.

    As stated above, you can block the block he was standing on, (btw, the falldamage is supposed to count from the point when your upwards velocity ends) and he falls. Yes, if he thinks fast enough he can put water (and you can knock him). I personally think that a tower-team with good kits is a tad OP. Example: endermage-levitator. Tower up there? Levitator knocks you. Thor? How about a perfect thor-roof with chests and blocks? (If there is a chest with a solid block below it, the netherrack won't appear) Grappler up there? You just got maged in a trap! My point being; a good tower-team is REALLY hard to counter if you don't have an endermage with you. This kit would be another counter to it.

    And, if you keep knocking the guy off when he comes up, he will never stay up (duh). Or if you have lava, put lava in the block where he is going to be!

    And please, don't just tell me what and how many flaws this kit has, instead make suggestions! And, I try to keep this kit without a cooldown, I will do something to the damage. (I know you made some suggestions, but I am targetting that message towards everyone)

    1.5 hearts more during the 5 seconds seems quite a lot. How about start with 2 hearts of damage and 1 heart more each time?
