Is the ELO system a bit glitchy?

    When i logged onto brawl 2 days ago my ELO was at 122.56, i tped to my teammate because he was fighting 1 full D and 3 3/4ds, keep that in mind!
    My friend killed 1 3/4 and got one shot.
    I was full leather and i killed a full D and 1 3/4ds when they tried to rush me but the last one killed me.
    i checked my elo again because i thought it went up, but no...
    I lost 2.75 elo from dying as full leather aftee i killed a full D and a 3/4ds.
    Same things today, i killed a full D i got a bit elo added, but died (I was full D and got killed by a full iron) and lost almost 3 elo again, now im on about 114 elo because of this, is this a glitch or did i missed anything?
    Im open for every answer (if its not personally hate)

    I believe it depends on their elo as well. So, if they have a low elo as opposed to yours, then you won't gain as much. Typically, seeing that you're an MVP, most likely with a team and a relatively high elo, it wouldn't make sense to gain so much elo from a player with much less than yourself.

    As he said if you kill someone with a higher elo than you you will receive a larger percentage however if someone kills you with a smaller elo than you they will receive a larger percentage

    Yes, i think so i killed 3 FullD but got only 1 elo.
    Then i died and lost 2Elo.. ( in Full Iron )
