Currently, I am a Builder, the default rank.
What rank are you applying for? -
I am applying for the rank, WE1. I'd like to say that I do realize that I am skipping past the AdvBuilder rank.
Do you understand what this rank provides? -
I understand what this rank provides me. I have read chickenputty's thread about Ranks.

Are you part of any Building Teams in our community? -
I am not in any building teams and I do not plan on joining one soon. I realize that joining one will improve my chances of gaining ranks. However, now that I am back in school, I have lots of work I need to attend to, and joining a build team will be very stressful as I would have to consistently update my daily schedule.
I would prefer to build when I want to, without the constant pressure most build teams provide. This will result in me building more quality builds. With pressure, I wouldn't build nearly as good as I usually do.
Although Build Teams allow for more collaboration resulting in much bigger, better builds, I do not think I have the time for it. Small builds does not have to mean less detail though. It just means less people have to work on it to get it done.

What is your experience with building in Minecraft? -
Of course, I started out as an extremely poor builder. I never really focused on improving until I met a friend who was exceptionally good at building. This brought my interest into crafting masterpieces such as his. Since then, I have joined a few creative servers, each time expanding my knowledge of building, constantly finding ways to further improve my builds.
Currently, I consider myself an experienced builder and have created a set of requirements each one of my builds must meet. This list is composed of: Detail, Depth, and Terrain. Whatever I build, in terrain or structure, must include detail and depth. Each build must have terrain. I will not tolerate any area with flat ground (unless it makes sense).

Why do you need the rank? -
I need this rank because of the ability to use World Edit in the small plots world. I've divided my plot into 4 smaller areas (each 36x36) so that I wouldn't be immediately overwhelmed. With World Edit, I could finish each area a little faster and maybe even create a build taking up an entire plot one day.
