    Health & Fitness for gamers.

    Simply put, our bodies
are capable of amazing things, but we no longer NEED to do these things in order to survive.

Unfortunately, this sets us up for disaster when we do try to move more often: when we go from sitting for 10-12 hours a day to trying to train martial arts or Parkour, playing kickball or even picking up groceries, it’s
    no wonder injuries are commonplace.

If you’re looking to improve your physical well-being, remain injury-free, and set yourself up to succeed with whatever form of fun activity
you choose to get your heart racing, it’s time to start moving like we are genetically designed to move.

I find it really informative to read on healthy eating, working out, and gaming. Besides
organized sports there are a lot of resources on line.

I thought it would be cool to learn about what others do to workout.

I don't have any hobbies and I play much with my laptop/phone.
I'm the 3rd strongest in my class with a 6 pack and I'm naturally good at pretty much anything (except in playing instruments). logic c:

I walk to school everyday and go outside a lot though.
the pack is not because I would be skinny or anything; muscle

Well, I am in the cross-country team and I like to play in the basement with that ball that never gets old (got it when I was 7)... and think :grinning:. But yep, you can't really get anywhere without that practice.

I don't partisipate in much sport, since my busy routine has made me hate leaving the house (since I always have to go to other stuff). I don't really work out as such, but I have no trouble doing the odd push up or plank, my closest thing to excercise would be hiking I do most holidays.

Sports then working out when not playing sports, I run track (all county) football and lacrosse (team mvp) it's all about putting in the work, it gets easier as it goes. My workout for when I'm not in sports is; about a 2 mile run 3-4 miles on bike then weight lifting, benching regular weights then just the basic workout stuff. Jumping jacks push ups sit-ups, I like doing sit ups while holding weights because it's good your arms and chest. Also I try to eat relativley healthy.

I do MMA (mixed martial arts) which basically is a combination of different martial arts. (e.g: Boxing, KickBoxing, Jiu Jitsu, Mauy Thai, etc. It's a good sport if you have alot of time and or energy!

Work out 5-6 days a week, warm up for 10-15 min before starting my workout. Which consists of stretching warming up my rotator cuffs or legs depending on the workout i'm doing that day, Also a little cardio before the workout. I do push, Pull, Legs. Push day is chest, triceps and shoulders. Pull day is Back and biceps, and leg day is all legs aka Quads, hamstrings and calfs. I love bodybuilding workouts but also love to lift heavy by doing my compound movements at the beginning of the workout then finish with all my accessory movements.
