Can't find my screenshots

    I want to apply for the build team, but I need to give them screenshots. The thing is I can't find my screenshots. The screenshots folder in the .minecraft folder shows my old screenshots but none of my new ones. Please help, I really want to apply for the Build Team but unless I can provide screenshots I can't apply.

    I put this in off-topic because I don't know where else to put it...

    Not really a solution to the problem, but why don't you play Minecraft in full screen and use the [PRINT] key to take screenshots?

    I'll try. But if it doesn't work I dont know what to do. And by Print key I hope you mean the Print Screen key.

    If you play regular you can press F2 to take a screen shot.

    Also, sounds like you already did the %Appdata%>minecraft>screen shots to look them up. In case you didn't the directions are above.

    I know how to take a screenshot but I can't find them in my .minecraft folder.

    That's for new ones you take/capture.

    Try makings sure you are looking at all file types in the folder not just JPEG's.

    Screenshots are png files. I know what you mean by pasting it a word document but how would i highlight the screenshot from in game?

    I was thinking that maybe you saved it in another format. And you maybe weren't seeing it because of that, just an idea.

    That could be, but I don't see how I could have changed the file extension. I'll search for JPEG files real quick and post my findings.

    Ok, how do I search for different file extensions in a folder?

    Look for all files (it should show as an option, when you open a search for screen.

    In the .minecraft folder I don't get an option like that. Or any other folder for that matter.

    Paste the screenshot in MS Paint.
