    Lol since everyone is making event ideas now, here's another one: king of the hill. This event would be mainly pvp based as people would try to gain control of a hill type structure and knock other people off it. For an incentive, when only 1 person is on the top of the hill area, they could receive a gold ingot/nugget every so often.

    No I haven't. I think it would be a bit too much work to organize myself and I haven't received any info from the staff if the spleef tournament could be possible so I assume it's a no go :/

    I like this idea Oracle! Could also be kinda team based? Like have 5 areas that can be controlled - More points you control, the more points per second - First team to a certain number of points.

    Also, make a conversation with some admins - Just say that there is a lack of competitions, and comps make the servers really fun! Although they are working on coding the new servers so idk if this is too much of an ask. (spleef tournament is not hard to code)

    This is an event idea for the survival pvp sever.

    True, but a crafting bench could be on the hill area to convert gold nuggets into ingots. This could pose a fun challenge to stay alive, maintain control and convert/deposit your gold all at once.
    Yeah that would be a fun concept :smile:
    I've tried to message the upper staff for the spleef event and they said they would see the thread. Not sure if they would want me to message them again. We could just do the spleef ourselves. Would be difficult, but possible. Any help would be great @Eil @StakeWillPlay :grinning:

    I'd just love to see more events overall. There are so many cool ideas, and since players are willing to make mazes, event ideas etc, the admins don't really need to do that much work to set it up.

    1.8 made it so you can literally put plugins into command blocks - So you could protect the area, get nuggets randomly spawning, points etc - its all possible with command blocks!

    :O Would you think it would be possible if you could give the gold nuggets when only 1 player is on the hill? I think that would make it more fun.

    Certainly possible - Just detecting players within an area, and if that = 1 then give that player nuggets.
