How do you set map textures?

    I have no idea how to set the textures for my maps. It says to paste the URL but idk what this means. PLEASE HELP!

    Wait do you mean this one? If you do, follow these instructions:

    1. Go to the MC-WAR texture pack thread here.
    2. Click the blue writing that says MC-WAR TEXTURE PACK
    3. On whatever device you are using, type inside the search field %appdata% and hit enter.
    4. Go to the .minecraft folder > Resource Packs
    5. At the bottom left corner of your browser, there should be a file that says mcwar .zip, click on that and then go to your search bar again and type in downloads and click the downloads file.
    6. Find the mcwar .zip zip folder
    7. Drag the zip folder into your resource packs folder under the %appdata% > .minecraft > resource packs
    8. Close it all up, open minecraft, go to options > resource packs and click the ">" button on the mcwar .zip logo.
    9. Wait a bit, and it should be loaded!

    Nah. We mean uploading a pack to the Build server so that it autoloads for other players when they log onto your world. Thanks for trying to help, though.

    Idk how to do it, but here's an example of DeZilla testing his out:

    He's talking about how to use the "Map resource pack" option, not how to use a resource pack installed to his computer.

    Well, assuming that the problem I mentioned above is fixed, all you have to do is pretty much go to the world options and select the ressource pack option, you will be invited to post directly the link/URL of the pack in the chat.

    Now please understand this, you need a DIRECT URL TO THE PACK, not a mediafire type of link.

    Exemple of a good direct URL:
    https://www.brawl.com/texture/mcwar.zip

    Bad exemple:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/uv2vhdbuin5q8iz/random ressource pack file.zip?dl=0

    I have my own way to host a direct URL, just like how Brawl does, I'm not gonna teach that.
