How to use "Set Resource Pack" in /world

    Hi Brawl People,
    I just recently learned how to set a resource pack for a world using /world. What this will do is when someone teleports to your world they will be prompted with the option to download the resource pack you uploaded.

    How to set the Map Resource Pack
    1. Create a direct link for your texture pack, if you do not know how to do so, I have step by step instructions listed bellow.
    2. While on your map in build, (it must be a map you own,) type /world and select "Set Resource Pack."
    3. You will be prompted after selecting this to enter the URL of your resource pack. You will simply copy and paste the direct link to the download in chat. You do not need to type any command.
    4. NOTE: At the moment there is a bug where you can not enter the URL of the resource pack. Until this is fixed, you will not be able to upload your resource pack.
    How to create a direct link:
    In order to upload your file, you will need a direct link. This means when you click on the link it will automatically download the file to your computer. This can be done a number of ways; I will be showing you how to do it using dropbox.
    1. Go to dropbox.com and register a free account.
    2. Click "Files" on the left side of the screen, then "Upload..." on the top right of the screen, (this will look like a piece of paper with a + on it.)
    3. Select the file from your computer. IT MUST BE A .ZIP FILE.
    4. Your upload time will vary based on internet speed, but once it is done just exit out of the file window.
    5. You should see the name of your file in the file section. Click on this, and select "share".
    6. Now copy the link displayed in the box under where it says "Link to file"
    7. The link will look something like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t25fa8yf7tc1ch9/Fernando Pack.zip?dl=0
    8. The final step is to change where it says www.dropbox.com to dl.dropboxusercontent.com
    9. You're final link will look like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/t25fa8yf7tc1ch9/Fernando Pack.zip?dl=0

    Nice guide! Setting up the resource pack for my world was a bit hard, but this simplified it :grinning:.

    As direct as it looks, it is not a direct url, it still does a protocol before downloading the file

    Edit: Just did some googling, https://minepack.net/

    For future reference, test your guide before posting. It could still have been tested with a sandbox server

    what's a sandbox server :confused:
    Also thanks :smile: I looked on a website and it said that made it direct... what do you mean by it does a protocol?

    1. A Sandbox Server is sort of a test server, a server generated with various purpose of testing and development.
    2. It will execute a script/codes that will lead to the file itself.
