The Surprise Kit

Hi,

A friend and myself have had the Surprise kit for a long time, however, recently we noticed something bit off. I am not sure if this is something that has been introduced after the transition to Brawl, but I have never noticed it before. I believe that the Surprise kit also selects from the challenge kits in accompaniment to the standard kits. I have gotten the pacifist kit at the same time as my friend had the survivor kit. He has also gotten the Blind kit. I was wondering if this is meant to be the case, indeed it does add a new risk to using the surprise kit, or whether it is not meant to behave in this way. It also makes for some pretty funny moments such as me watching my friend walk into lava as I ran away from a player with a sword, unable to fight back.

Do you think that there is anyway to rectify this? Perhaps classify the challenge kits as a different group so that surprise doesn't include those as a kit that it can give you?

 

Seems reasonably feasible, I'd say. It does create certain uniquely funny moment though, it has to be said.

Though it would be nice to get an actual kit that gives you an advantage
