    I've noticed a lot of lag recently in HG, especially if theres over 60 players a game. Its nearly impossible to soup with the lag. However, late night 20 player games have no lag/soup lag at all, so the lag is definitely coming from the server host.

    Also its not only HG with the server lag. War gets random lagspikes here and there, on minecraftparty everyone freezes occasionally, and kitbrawl is so laggy its impossible to combo. Many people I know are quitting brawl because of the lag, you better do something about it!

    I think it's not that easy to get a new host which is good, but I'm not sure.

    War average game speed via /lag was 50% today. It's all servers.

    Hmm, that's strange because on Survival PvP we have above 80% procent game speed. Even though there are over 60 people.

    I always have 95%+ speed and 9-30 ping. The only time it lags is occasionally. Are you sure it's not your side of the connection?

    The HG code is really not optimized and is very likely to stress the servers a lot. Every week I optimize what I can, but it sure is going to take some time before we see a difference. As for the other servers, I haven't looked a lot at the code so I can't express myself on that.

    Brawl lags at certain times, they are constantly trying to improve the lag.

    Yes, our host is OVH, that's why we timed out last week, because OVH timed out.

    Brawl's servers are hosted in Canada, so your ping depends on where you live.

    United States: Around 5-40 pings.
    Europe: Around 80-120 pings.
    Asia: Around 200-250 pings.

    More you are far from the host, more you'll be lagging.

    Speedtest doesn't help with ping test. This is only your own internet based on a response sent by the server which hosted you to test your internet. No comparaison with your in-game ping, because it can simply vary geared to the response of the servers, namely Brawl's.

    Your internet could be the same with your in-game ping only if you live next to the servers' host.

    Sometimes it could be the server itself, then do /lag and you'll see if the server is lagging. If that's the case, then the server is lagging, but if the game speed is at 90-100%, then you're lagging.

    Now try testing with a host that's actually somewhere near our server location (i.e. Beauharnois, Quebec).

    @everyone to be honest server.pro does 10x better than OVH.
