So this idea is based off of a feature that is incorporated into Teamspeak3. On TS if you're having a convo with someone in a PM and you go offline, messages they send you while you're offline will appear as "offline messages" which you're able to read and reply to.

This would be extremely handy to add into Brawl (globally) as it would allow people to log off while PMing people and log back on to see what people have said while they're offline. There used to be something like this on WarZ (not sure if it's still here) but when you logged on it would say "You have 1 mail" or something along those lines. This is defiantly possible, you'd log on and you would get an alert saying "you have x amount of offline messages. Type /omsg to read" or a similar thing.

If this was implemented, it would be extremely useful and I feel like the community would like it.

I have a few questions however, first off

    1. For example, if I sent you a message "/msg NetFelixAndChill Where have you been?!" And you get on and see it, would responding to it just be doing "/msg WarSkater Busy lately!" or would there be a certain command to send offline players messages? (Ex. /omsg WarSkater Busy lately!")

    2. Would the sender (myself) be able to see when you read it / opened it?

    3. Would this be a command for friends to friends, or for anyone to send to anyone?

This could be implemented as some sort of mail system, where you and your friends could send eachother 'mail' which are messages you can reply to. Whenever you log in you could check your inbox for any new messages or draft new messages to other people.

    1. Just the normal /msg (name)

    2. No. They would just get a regular PM

    3. Anyone

Although that is an idea, It would be easier to just stick with the regular /msg feature and add the offline part rather than having to switch to /mail when you log off.

I have been on servers then allredy have this. It's great and easy. Only do /mail (player name) (your text) and to read them only do /mails
    It's realy easy and effective.

    Great idea, +1 from me.
But we should add a limit, as people like Lord_Roke would get 100 messages a day.
Something like the /mail command I suggested before, but then in TS3. This has already been added to the forums ( Conversations ), so I think it wouldn't be a big problem
Don't reply to the /mail command link I gave you, you will get a warning by Lord_Roke because of grave digging

What about mods? Wouldn't they be spammed to death? Maybe it's a good idea to do it friend to friend.

Love it, it's kind of like Essentials "Mail"-which is pms for offline players-where you can do /mail send (player) (message); /mail read to read all your messages; and /mail clear to mark your messages as read

There already was a /mail command in WarZ, not sure what happened to it.

Hopefully they'll add a way to disable them or only let friends send them mail.
