Brawl Junior Moderator Application: Please note I have put spaces in-between the questions to make it easier to read, not to increase the length of my application. I have used passages from my old application from Feb but only where I see fit.

Have you read over this thread? - Yes I have. I created the original version of that thread last year.

What is your in-game name? - NetFelixAndChill but I will be changing it back to my original Minecraft name ‘Mrcowlick’ as soon as I can.

Have you changed your name in the past? If you have, please list them. - All my Minecraft usernames have been: Mrcowlick, LeCowlick and NetFelixAndChill. I do not plan on having another one in the future.

Does anyone else have access to your Minecraft account? - No. I am the only one with access to my account. Skulduggery57 used to have access but I have since changed my password so he cannot use it.

How old are you? - I am 15 years of age, born on 16th February 2000. I will be soon turning 16 but I believe that I am more mature than many people my age.

What time zone are you in? - +12 (UTC), I do believe.

Are you multilingual? Can you speak multiple languages? - I am multilingual. I am capable of speaking 3 languages other than english to a certain extent: German, Spanish and French. Out of those 3 languages I speak German the best followed by Spanish and I do not speak a lot of french but I know some of the basics because my dad is fluent and used to speak in french.

What is your experience and knowledge of Minecraft? - Over my vast time playing Minecraft; I have gathered a huge knowledge of the game and how it’s played and how it works. I originally started off at the age of 11 when I got the Minecraft PE (pocket edition) on my Lenovo Tablet. I was hooked and I couldn’t put the game down. I soon started to see videos about the PC version of the game on Youtube and to this day I still watch them. Through these videos, I learnt about the PC version of the game and I quickly started to watch things on how to build houses and do redstone. After about 3 months I had saved up enough money to get a premium Minecraft account, and here I am today. I started off doing things on creative and survival like all my fave YouTubers and messed around with redstone and things like that. I also had a passion for building medieval or rustic houses, for no purpose other than for pleasure. I soon started to get interested in the multiplayer feature of the game, and I started to play with people like Skulduggery57/ followhenis. I started to play a lot of hunger games, because that was the popular thing at the time. But I soon found McBrawl, back then called Multiplayer Servers, through followhenis whilst we were Skyping. At first I thought the McWar server was horrible, and I died at least 200 times on the first day before quitting. It was only through extreme boredom that I started to play again. In about a month or two I became prestige, and I started to make a name for myself in the community. I played on McWar for around 1 to 1 and a half years, playing on no other servers. That is until I stated to get bored of it because of 8 months of no update and I found Mc-WarZ. I fell in-love with the server and after around two months I became a moderator there and spent a happy few months moderating and having a good time. Unfortunately me and the admins never really got along, and this as well as a few other things caused me to resign from WarZ. But at the time of my resignation I was already getting bored. Late last year I didn’t really play Minecraft much anymore and most of my interaction with McBrawl was forums based, and I took an 8 month break from Minecraft to focus on school and sports this year but I have returned around a month ago and I have been playing 3-4 hours a day.

What is your experience with moderating servers, if any? - I have a good amount of experience moderating servers. I was mod on the server owned by @fast11471 before he promoted me to c0-owner. Proof:http://imgur.com/lmwwm5t,OilN7N7. This was a small community based factions server, which had around 10-20 people on at most times, and had its own forums. On my time on this server I gathered a lot of good knowledge about handling power and using it responsibly.

MineSwine: I have been a moderator on the server network Mineswine. This is a relatively large server containing SG with guns, probably its most famous feature. It attracted 1,000+ people a day, and I did my job on this server for around a month before resigning to spend more time on McBrawl. I was a Moderator on a Minecraft server run by IronRaven and some other old McBrawl members but after I took a break from Minecraft I was demoted for inactivity and I believe that the server has since died out due to lack of players.

The only other server that I have been mod+ on is McBrawl’s server:Mc-WarZ. Many of you will have been here during my time as a WarZ mod so proof is not really needed, but I will include it anyways. You could argue that being a WarZ mod is one of the hardest positions to handle here at McBrawl, and during my time as a mod I did my job well and although I may have made some enemies, that is to be expected on a server full of hackers and DDoSers.

What will you provide to the community if you are provided moderator status? - I feel like whatever I put here is going to come out as generic as anything else but I will try my best to be original. The reason I am applying for McWar JMod is because I want to see the War community grow back to what it was in 2012-2013. The golden ages if you like. When I am on War these days I see a lot of people flaming at each other and name calling etc. There is also a lack of helpful people making the experience welcoming for new members. I have seen many people abusing people with low ranks or people who’s first time it is on the server and they tend to be so put off by these people that they don’t return to play war again let alone discover any of the other servers we have here. As a Mod I want to get rid of this foul attitude that seems to linger on War and make it a place where anyone is welcome, regardless of rank, skill, level, donor or non donor.

Have you ever used a hacked client before? - I have never used a hacked client in my Minecraft career. The way I see it, hacked clients do nothing but outline someone’s inability to play the game the way it was designed; thus taking all the fun out of playing the server in the first place.

Have you ever been banned on a Minecraft server? If so, why? - With the exception of McBrawl I have only been banned on one Minecraft server on any account. My ban on McBrawl was not the consequence of me doing anything against the rules. Around October - November I asked to be banned off of McBrawl so that I could focus on my school work. The server I was banned on was WeedKits PVP server. I was banned for apparently fastplacing but I was recording at the time and was found innocent and unbanned right away.

What do you consider your greatest strength? - My greatest strength, Minecraft and Brawl wise, is the fact that I am one of the oldest current members. I have been with Brawl since late 2012 and I have seen the server develop and change which gives me a huge knowledge of the place and how things work. My time as WarZ mod served to give me even more knowledge into the working of Brawl and I believe that this can be used to my advantage if I am granted Mod status.

I also believe that my maturity is something that works for me. Whilst I have showed windows of being immature in the past, especially in the months after my demotion I believe that I have matured tenfold since then and I am much more mature than people of my age. Take a look at my forums posts if you want evidence. I do not like to be drawn into flame wars / conflicts but I will stuck up for things that I believe in.

What do you consider your greatest weakness? - Acting before I think is something that used to be my greatest weakness and still is to this day but due to my development as a person over the last 8 months this has become far less of an issue.

How active do you consider yourself on Brawl? - I am going to address this in the three sections required to become a Mod: Teamspeak, Forums and In-Game.

Forums: With 3,212+ posts I can be counted as extremely active on the forums. I am one of the oldest registered members that can be called active (posting regularly) and have an abundance of positive ratings to match my posts. In recent months I have been trying to tone down the amount of threads I am posting on, instead only posting when I feel that I can contribute to the conversation. I generally try and keep away from posting things that others have already said as it it technically spam, and instead try to make my posts as helpful as I can.

Teamspeak: Teamspeak is the area where I am the weakest. I try my very best to be on Teamspeak for at least 2+ hours a day but the time that I can spend on it is down to what is happening in my life outside of Minecraft weather it be socialising, school or sports. With the school year having just finished for me and me having sat my final exam by the time this is posted my activity in this area is going to rocket.

In-Game: In-game activity is my strongest area as I feel it is the area which needs the most addressing. Seeing as there is only 2 active War mods the War community needs leaders and whenever I am on I try to be one. On a daily basis since my return I have been putting in 2-4 hours a day and I don’t see this amount decreasing any time soon. I do not tend to play on server 1 as I find servers 2 and 8 more enjoyable.

Which Brawl servers are you most active on? - War is currently the only Minecraft server I play with the exception of getting on WarZ once every few days to play with followhenis for an hour or so, but 99% of my time is spent on War.

How many hours can you provide a day and during what time frame? - Depends on the day and what’s going on like I said in my TS3 paragraph but seeing as it is now the holidays I am able to put in at least 3+ hours a day of my time into moderating War.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule in-game? - I would give them a warning telling them that what they have done is against the rules and that if they continue then they will receive the according punishment weather it be a kick, mute or temp ban. I believe there is a warning system in place which I can use to do this but I will always be willing to discuss it further with the person in /msg or a PM on the forums.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on the forums? - I would follow the same steps as if someone broke a rule in-game. I would warn the user in a PM, so I am not publicly embarrassing the person, that what they did was wrong and continual evasion of the rules will end in punishment. If the person is posting 18+ things on the forums I would immediately remove the post or thread from public view and report it for a higher up to deal with.

What would you do if someone breaks a rule on TS3? - The exact same as I have said for the other two. I would pull the offended into a private channel and kindly tell them that what they have done is against the rules and warn them of the consequences if they continue to break the rules.

Situation (as a staff member): You log on Brawl, and you’re told that there is a huge, game-breaking economy glitch. No Admins are online to solve the situation. What steps would you take to handle the issue? - I would use my recording software to record this glitch and I would inform a higher member of staff right away. While I am waiting for and Smod or Admin to come and deal with the glitch itself I would do my very best to answer peoples questions and keep everyone in line. If people were abusing the glitch then I would take the appropriate action to make sure that they do not continue to do so. I would also do my best to make sure that news of this glitch does not spread around to other people who might abuse it or use for their own means.

How many Brawl staff applications have you made in the past? - I will admit that I have made a lot of staff applications in the past with the total number standing at 12, but 4 of them were made when I had just joined the forums and made 3 in a row. I asked for my Minecraft Party application to be denied and after I was demoted from staff I made a few applications which were all denied. My most recent app back in February was denied because I got forums banned for giving a fellow member too many positive ratings in one go which I did not know was against the forums rules. I have since not posted an application in around 8 months and I now feel that I am 100% ready to give this another shot.

What is the date of the last application you submitted? - February 2nd 2015

Do you have a working microphone? - I do not have a purpose built microphone but the computer that I use to play Minecraft has an 2 built into it which pick up my voice just fine.

Are you able to record and upload videos? - Yes I am, I have my own Youtube channel where I upload videos and hacker reports.

Do you generally know how all the staff member commands work? - Yes I do. I know how all of the old staff commands work as I was once a Brawl Mod however I understand that there have been some new commands added since which I will need someone to bring me up to speed on.
