Hm, that seems like a good solution. Although lots of retexturing and stuffs would be needed, although that would not pose a problem... there are maps that have these items a part of it. Let's say these saplings are in a map, those saplings would be textured as a gun tho :v, although there are other things I'm sure we can use.

 

Instead of saplings, we could use things like food items or random blocks.

 

I like it. Especially on maps made of snow where the python insta-breaks the block

 

Making war adventure mode would be ok for infect since you can just go up to a zombie and let them punch you, except for when root is gone/afk. They can make a /root command to make a player a root zombie if the original leaves.

And for double nuking you can just go to the other teams territory and be shot to reset your ks.

Maybe another solution could be, that you can only break blocks with your bare hands. This could be helpful as high level shotguns also break blocks. Maybe that could be an idea?

3 deaths isn't that bad if you get tons of kills anyway.

 

Why would items need to be retextured?

 

I think he means retexturing the new gun items to guns. aka renaming the texture files :V
