    I believe there should be some way to choose the biome of one's plot. Instead of ripping up the grass and replacing it with other blocks; I hope someone can implement a way of choosing a biome for a plot to aid in easier detail when creating a specific build under a biome theme. For example, add a forest biome to create a cabin in the woods, a mountain/hill biome for making caves into the walls of them, a desert biome for Egyptian pyramids.

    If you meant Creative plots, you can always do /plot b (biome) to change your plot's biome.
    For Build maps, you can do //setbiome (biome) using world edit to change your map's biome.

    I think he means having the ground be another block, not the different colors of grass.

    You can do this when you create your map @colorific , there is an advanced setting where you can change the flooring of the map. Or, you can just WE some areas for diff biomes.
