An unusual situation involving scamming in-game.

    Situation: A player (not me. I don't play WarZ) made a deal with another player on WarZ. He would buy him VIP if the other player would let him get his loot for a month. He buys him VIP, then the player betrays him immediately afterwards and essentially leaves with his money.

    Question: Is there anything that can be done about this? Would a refund be warranted in this case?

    Notes: This is an odd situation that I don't think has come up in the past, so please consider your answer before replying as it has the potential to set a precedent. Also, please take into consideration that this involves real money. Not credits, or other in-game currency. This makes this situation especially serious. Thank you for your time.

    No, it is up to the player to make that trade with the other player. The only way we would honor something like this is if we were to middle man the trade, which we will never do. We do not advise players to purchase anything for others under any agreement of trade. Purchases for others should purely be gifts.
