What is War 2.0?

    Now, you see, I am really in the dark with War 2.0. I have no clue what it's going to be adding or anything like that. I also really don't know if it's a reset or something like that. I really don't want a reset :V. Anyway, please let me know!

    A new server, based on Call of Duty. Sounds like war huh? But no! There will be more gamemodes and probably prestige levels, more killstreaks and so on.

    So you will keep the current stats on this server but 2.0 will be a whole new server so, new stats there.

    War 2.0 is a new version of our War server, and it will be named "Call of Duty" instead of "MC-War". Back in August 2013 this was announced and it still haven't come out yet.
    It will be a fully new server, not a reset of our current server. The old War server will remain unchanged as far as I know.

    Basically a completely new server.
    I suggest that you take a look at this thread that was made a while ago by the one and only @Liffy_, which covers a lot of the currently known information about 2.0. Although, I'm not sure if all of that is still planned. You should also take a look at Signatured's twitter, found here, which shows current development.

    It's a new platform...was supposed to be released years ago but still hasn't. It's currently being worked on as others mentioned.

    **I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY FALSE OR INNACURATE INFORMATION!! READ WITH CAUTION!!**

    War 2.0 was originally going to be released somewhere around late 2014/early 2015. A beta testing server was released in around late 2014 (not sure of this vaige date) where players coult test the new 2.0 platform. This new platform was going to have multiple additions, such as:
    • Better CTF system
    • Domination and Kill Confirmed game-modes
    • Prestiges (10, there might be a master prestige rank)
    • Gun rebalancing and re-coding
    • Multiple class loadouts
    • More guns
    • Major lag fixes
    • Overall better to enjoy
    Time past beyond the expected due date, and players were confused as to why it wasn';t released. The reason for that had to do with the coders of War 2.0, especially orange451, a former but very good coder. His coding was said to be like no one elses. It was very different from any others, but it worked, it worked quite a lot. Orange451 became inactive and soon dead to us players. He was fired in the middle of the War 2.0 project and killer_99 took his place to finish the platform. But it didn't take long for killer_99 to be fired, (or resigned, not sure), and I'm not sure exactly why he was. So from then to today, Signatured and NomNuggetNom are working on War 2.0 as we read, speak, play, and enjoy the current server that Brawl is.

    So in a nulcear bombshell, War 2.0 was supposed to be released much ealier than now. I do not have an estimated or exact date on when this new platform will be beta tested or released. War 2.0 will contain MANY changes and will probably make War, or will be known as Call Of Duty: Minecraft Warfare, much more enjoyable.
