    So, with the beta of Hardcore Games, I have noticed some small things that I think could be improved on. First, the servers themselves appear to be on a rather odd timer, where some appear to be in action with 0/0 players in lobby, and other resetting while still in game. I know this is to be expected, and is quite possibly intentional. I just wanted to bring it to attention if it's not. Secondly, I think it would be pretty cool to enable the selected Kit in the pre-game pvp pit. The little warm up area seems pretty stale with players relentlessly beating each-others faces in with swords and healing non stop. This isn't to say the warm-up battle isn't fun as it is, I just think it could be more fun if we could use our selected kits in the battle field as well as in the pregame pvp. Third, I have noticed a lot of hacking on the server in general, especially in the Brawl game and Hardcore games. I know it's hard to find hackers, and using systems like NCP and what not only work so well, but perhaps some new interest could be put into stopping hackers. I know the /report system works very well, I have used it a lot and it is always responded to with a staff member to solve the issue. These are just some suggestions I had, other than that, the game is super fun and I hope to see more people joining in to play :smile:. Since traffic is pretty low in the HC games, perhaps it might not be a bad idea upon release of the non-beta/full version of the game mode to host a tourney or a big game and give away idk maybe 6 months of VIP to the winner and 1 month of VIP to runners up. Something like that to get people into the game. Keep up the good work guys!

    I don't recall having to restart a server mid-game and am aware of the bug that caused servers with 0 players on to be "in progress". I have released a fix for this in the past days and it shouldn't happen anymore.

    Concerning the kits in pre-game, I am not sure as to whether we'll be able to implement this, sadly. First of all, it will require a major rework of ALL the kits - world damage will need to be disabled, for example. On top of that, some aspects of normal gameplay are disabled during pre-game (such as world modifications, crafting, smelting), and the time and the biome are fixed, which will make some kits OP (*cough* madman *cough*), and many kits, useless. To counter this, players might want to use a different kit for pre-game than on the real game, but might then forget to switch back before the game starts. I can only see a ton of bugs and issues rising if we implement this.

    We have a developer dedicated to hack detections which is working actively on improving the plugins. It's also not really my domain anymore, and the problem of hackers is not limited to HG, as you said.

    Finally, I actually like the idea of hosting a special event upon releasing the full version. Thanks for your feedback, I like to see what the community thinks of the game in it's current state!

    You know, that's a really good point about people forgetting to change. The other points had me thinking it's more labor side, but for sure this is the kicker. And yeah, the big roll out event would be a strong idea. Back when I worked with savage realms, we would organize big events anytime we introduced a new anything. Let me know if you ever need anything, I am always around to help out.
