    So, I have an idea for a new game mode after Hardcore Games is finished being developed. This was actually inspired by the fact that the Brawl website home page background contains a MC version of both Teemo and Tryndamere (from the game League of Legends). You cant really see the teemo unless you access the source files and locate the banner, but trust me, he is here. I thought this was an awesome little secret, as I am an avid league player myself, and it inspired me to question why isn't a form of league, or something like it, implemented yet?

    Logic:

    Other than CTF, there are no real objective based game modes in Brawl yet. Sure you could argue War is an objective based game, but really it's just about killing the other guys. This game mode would incorperate PVP, Objective Gameplay, Kits, Upgrading/Shopping, Quest (side objectives really), and Team Work. This would also use the current quick chat system used in CTF, just with different location marker of course (eg. "I need help! (Near toplane tier 2 objective)". Not to mention this could help drive more use of the Team Speak server (as it is very team work based) and more donations for new classes and what not!

    Gameplay:

    3 lanes similarly layed out to league of legends, for anyone who is unfamiliar, consult this picture:

    The jungle in this case could consist of both jungle monsters (probably utilizing boss mobs and things like slimes that drop extra XP [which is used a currency in the in-game shop) and a sub layer as well which provides another means to conquer the other teams castle.

    Classes:

    Similar to CTF, each player will have a choice of a class. Classes will include something ranged, something melee, something tanky, and something focusing on abilities and ability power. Each of the classes will have their own shop (details below) so as to not confuse new players. We want to make the game as simple as possible, while still making it a new and exiting playing style. Along with each class, each class will have their own set of 2 abilities. Melee class will have a increased strength boost and move speed (cool downs of about 40 seconds). Ranges will have infinite arrows (no cooldown of course) and they will get increased punch to their bows for a few seconds (again probably 50 seconds cooldown). Tanks will have an abilitie to take no damage for 5 seconds, but decreasing their move speed by 50 percent, they will also have an ability that grants a super short burst of speed to get out of a stick situation (by super short I mean literilly like a quick charge to evade enemies, having about a 50 second cooldown). Lastly, mages will have a 2 second invisability (60 second CD) and and an ability to warp a short distance (about 4 blocks) instantly. Each of these abilities could be designed to upgrade in the shop with scaling boosts, pending on how in depth you plan to take the special abilities aspect of each class. Not to mention countless others for sale in the Brawl shop, and many more for VIP and Premium players etc. (But I really hope we dont have any super OP classes *cough cough Pyro and Ninja cough cough*.

    Shops:

    Each teams base will have a shop (this will be best done using a TP to somewhere under the base) where you can upgrade each of your abilities and buy things like armor, weapons, enchants, pickaxes (more info below) and potions. XP is used as currency, and you get awarded XP for: Killing players, Assisting kills, Killing mobs (perhaps even baby slimes can roam the map and act as a source of quick cash), and destroying objectives (you both earn individual XP for killing the objective, and team XP for just being on the team that destroys and objective.) the exact amounts of XP awarded will be carefully thought out at a later time.

    Objectives:

    The way I best foresee this game mode is played out something like this: similar to league of legends and DOTA 2, each lane will have objectives to capture, the key to success here is to rotate the map and make sure all objectives are being attacked at one point. Each team will have to destroy a block in each of the objective. Take this picture for instance (our bojective would look NOTHING like this, this is bland and ugly, but you get the idea), you would have to destroy the diamond block to destroy the objective:

    Upon destroying all objectives in the lane, you will be able to attack their tier 2 objectives, and after that is destroyed, you can access the tier 3 (final) and can win the game upon destroying that. Each tier could have harder and harder blocks to break, which would give reason to upgrade you pickaxe in the shop.

    Or just buy this exact gamemode from McPvP.
    I doubt this'll happen. It already was McPvPs gamemode.

    I had played back when MCPVP was still around, I faintly remember something similar, which would be a good starting point if they still have the assets, but it was never this in depth. I would love it though if hclewk still had those assets, would make dev a bit quicker i'd say.

    Actually there was a McMOBA being made (hence the forums background) I am not sure on the progress of it but judging by the other current projects, I would not say it will be public anytime soon

    Good to hear it was being developed. Obviously it's not feasible to develop this game mode as well as the HG, but hopefully it will pick back up eventually!

    Hm, great idea! You want to kinda rebuild something like League of Legends and Ctf and many other gamemodes... I really love this idea really.

    But still, it would be very hard to develop. As there aren't many good active coders. We're still waiting for the development of Wild West and War 2.0. And, as others have already suggested, it can be bought by McPvp and be developed more, as McPvp has already done the coding stuff.

    So yeah, great idea, difficult development, +1 from me :wink:

    That's what I was looking for. I hadn't known much about the logistics of devs right now. Clearly as mentioned above brawl has its fair share of projects on it's hands. And yeah, I mean again, the mcpvp version could be a good starting point for sure. But yeah, I would love something like this in game, but clearly it has a while to wait!
