    I came across this novella (and novella is stretching it, it's not very long).
    It's really deep and makes you think twice ask whenever you hear someo: "What is life?"
    It's called The Egg, by Andy Weir. And it's my signature, too.

    Anyway, here it is. (Available in 31 languages, in case you can't speak English and just stumbled across this thread, ready to click any links)
