Kits in pre-game

    Main points of the idea:

    - Everyone has access to ALL kits during the pre-game
    - The fighting arena will not be the current one, perhaps one that looks a lot like a typical biome found in HG
    - Start off with a full inven of soup, for each kill, people get an additional 5 soup

    Pros:
    - Practice refilling for new people
    - As all kits are enabled, people can use the pre-game to see what kit they want to buy

    Cons:
    - Not all kits are able to use there (eg Madman)

    Have a kit that may not work? Post the kit below and I'll try and think of a solution

    Demoman would be a bit difficult to code in for this. I love the idea, but a few kits would hurt to have.

    Any kit that involves destroying the terrain:
    Allow the terrain to be destroyed, and when the game is starting, reset the map

    Demoman could easily just destroy the whole map, making it an insta- kill from fall dmg if you're hit in there.

    I'm not sure how I would feel about this, it would seem like an HG game except for the fact that everyone has access to all kits. If this was implemented I would restrict it to whatever kits you owned.

    I feel like the pregame of HG is ALREADY to much like a KitPvP server. This would only increase that.

    Nah... I don't like the idea. It is better with just 1 diamond sword and full iron.

    Leave it as it is and don't worry about the pregame as much. The only problem with it is the farming for iron sword. Just add a 7 day kit exchange (only allowed once). Plus if they were really interested in buying a kit, they could go to the forums. I honestly think that the Hungergames needs someone to review all the kits for THIS server. Like Viva since everyone loves him already.


    I play both KitPvP and HG and you are entitled to what you think. The only things that are the same is soup and kits. That is all that is the same. In KitPvP its about killstreaks and less about surviving. In HG its more about being last one alive then the kills. Both of which do share a little of both but they mostly are different in that area.

    I think its a nice idea, but Endermage, Madman, Titan, Tarzan, Demoman, Cuddler, Chameleon, Grave Digger, Digger, Launcher and some other kits can be bad :stuck_out_tongue:

    I think it would be better if it is like a feast for pregame where you can choose 5 kits for like kangaroo stomper etc. no kits with terrain/building and every1 starts with the same equip like now! The feast could be in an arena like now but the walls must be higher for 3 towers for stompers or something like this
