    So hello all!

    This thread is designed to give you all some insight into what us War Staff do and what it is like for us when we are in Moderator mode. This footage is recorded over half an hour of McWar gameplay (sped up 2X so you don't die of boredom) and I hope that it can show you what you have to deal with if you are going to become a staff member here at Brawl. If not then just sit back, relax and enjoy the video.



    As you can see, a huge portion of what us JMods do is chat moderation. With the changes in the community there is often one or two people on that likes to test the rules and push the limits, like the person I had to end up muting in the video. As you progress up the ranks in the staff team obviously your duties increase, with Mod+ having the ability to spectate and perm ban players.

    Chat moderation is something that I really enjoy as a JMod as it is the main reason that I applied to be a staff member. Keeping the chat clear of spammers, ragers, and general rule breakers. There is one huge negative to this side of moderation though; as I am sure you can all see in the video I do not always have a huge amount of time to actually play the game itself and I am often having to deal with PM's from 2 or more people plus public chat. This leads me to spending a lot of time in /war leave just moderating until it is calm enough for me to play.

    Great, informative post Mrcowlick. I think this is good for the community to see and understand the trouble you and other JMods go through on a daily basis.
