    Hello. Welp whenever I join any Minecraft servers I get initial server lag for a few seconds, then one of two things happens. One, I get kicked with a "timed out" error, or two, the server runs normally for a few seconds and after that lags again for a few more seconds and then proceeds to kick me with the same "timed out" error.

    I'm on Windows 10 version 1511 and Minecraft version 1.8.9.

    Yes Jave(TM) Platform SE binary is allowed through my firewall.
    Yes this still occurs with the firewall disabled.

    P.S. I didn't know where to post this thread, seeing as only the staff members see the threads in 'support' and I thought some community members may also know solutions to this.

    >ping 127.0.0.1 -t
    >Try joining, look for abnormalities in the ping response

    Post your results, this will determine whether it is you, or your minecraft.

    It outputted the below throughout the entire process

    Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=128

    Therefore most likely your connection is not the issue.
    Just because it's easier, backup your minecraft files, save whatever you need, uninstall, install, and see if the problem is fixed.

    This is actually a fresh install of minecraft, it's as vanilla as you can get.

    It being a fresh install, have you encountered the problem prior to it, or simply after the new install?

    I didn't have minecraft on windows 10 prior to this, but everything worked on windows 7.
