    Hello my fellow Minecraft forum members. Today I have posted a idea of mine, a MC-WAR MAP that can be added!

    The reasons why is because:

    1.) It gives a better look of where you are in the map in bird's eye view.

    2.) It is like actual CoD.

    I know it may interfere with e.m.p. strikes, but instead of blinding the player, you can black out the signal of the map!

    To locate the players this is what happens...

    Friendlies: Shown at all times in a green dot

    Enemies: They have to shoot their gun for you to locate it.

    ( Not only it go's on with the map, this part helps players conserve their usage of ammo quickly! )

    Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think that a minimap is possible without a clientside mod and personally, I believe that MCWar would lose the majority of its players if a mod was required to play on the server, especially when all the mod adds is a minimap. If you do want a minimap, then you can use a minimap mod such as Rei's. (Keep in mind that any minimap mod that shows other players (entities) is not allowed)

    I'm not unlocking but @Rocky3c 's mod has a mini map and it works :V
    The reason this won't be added is some people don't know how to install mods meaning some people have an unfair advantage.

    I think he meant that it is not possible without clientside mods, which is true.
