    Before we had no need to update the Visitor Rank in minecraft build because the menu star let people access containers, buttons, ect... somehow this was "fixed". On my game map and I'm sure other people's game maps it was required so that you could have the person play the game without the power to obliterate everything you built.

    Now that the menu star doesn't do that game like that are dead. So, and easy 1 command fix is to give visitor ranked people (Everyone have None rank first) the perm of "interact" thus letting them ride minecarts, push buttons, open wooden doors, ect.

    I've been told this is too much effort for staff, or that it is too hard. B.S.

    Players don't have access to that kind of stuff for a reason. Typically, a regular on the server might make the spawn of their world encapsulated, only escapable if a member opens the door for them. Players would be able to access areas of maps where the owner of the map may not want them to be. Sure, it may be simple to create, but have all things been considered here?

    Not all map owners will want this to be implemented. Again, it may be simple to make- but it's just not a priority right now.

    I don't know if this would be too difficult to code, but what if you could change the perms of the visitors yourself? So, say that there is this one part of your map you don't want anyone going to, so you go get a wand or something, select a door and do //lock or something (I'm not thinking about the specifics). It would be interesting to see something like that.

    This is why there should be a new rank instead of updating the current one! They all have different purposes and it will fit the type of map, eg: roleplay maps. Countless of people have suggested a new rank and
    then it should be implemented since it is simple to make.

    As I said, it may be simple to make; it's just not priority as of right now. I believe coders are directing their focus towards servers with legitimate problems- I.E. Skywars, Wild West Release (#soon), War 2.0 (ibid), Party minigames are having some problems- along with several abusable bugs in CTF, HG, War, and WarZ.
    I do agree that the new rank is a good idea, it's just that overall- there are more important matters to attend to :frowning:

    This would be nice but as stated above by @Crestfallen_, the coders are working on important things (#soon)
