Wolven Skys

I like the theme and such, but I think it kind of looks a little bald. There's just a simple tree with a little texturing in the grass here and there, there aren't hills, structures and such on the islands, only in the middle. Also most of the things are squares and could use a little more design. If you work on those I can give you my +1.

And it's spelled "Wolven Skies" , sorry my grammatical error checker fired up.

 

Thanks for submitting a map! Here's a couple specific pointers I would like you to work on:

• Make a layer of dirt beneath the grass
• Add some more textures and blocks to the stone than just dirt.

Your islands are plain and flat. Here's some ideas:

• Remove your "Notch Tree" - and replace it with a custom made one.
  • Try looking at some tutorials/google images for inspiration. Remember not to copy directly, however!
• Add some sort of structure like a house, cave, etc.
• Add some height variation. Your island's flat and definitely can use a 1-2 block height difference.

• Go through and check for areas such as this, where you have grass on grass.

• Improve your block variation in the middle. I should be able to spot 15+ different blocks such as stairs, slabs, etc.
• Try adding some more detail to your structure as well, it seems a bit plain.
• Cut down on the number of chests, enderchests, and enchantment tables a bit.
