    Hey guys been a while. I've been producing music for almost a year now and I've only recently started playing around and being more complex such as showing changes in bass instead of a loop and wanted to show ya'll what I've been making. My sound is very diverse but I'm hoping to make something in the ranges of Flying Lotus to PARTYNEXTDOOR/Majid Jordan/that "OVO" sound soon. Show me some love or tell me what I could improve in, would appreciate all critiques from any fellow producers or just casual music fans.


    Unrecognizable from the original song which I edited, actually I think it's more of a remix since I deleted like half of the original sounds and made a new beat. Aimed for Flying Lotus soundish.

    Again with that Flying Lotus sound thing. It's a really old song but for a song that I made when I just started I really liked it and stands out from the earlier songs I produce.

    French House meets Southern Hip-Hop. Samples "Forget about the World" at 110 bpm and mixed with a dirty Houston sound.

    hmm, I really like "past" ! That one is good. The first one seems a bit cluttered with different sounds.. or chunky. It's good but maybe try smoothing out the sounds? I don't make music personally so it's hard to describe .
    Otherwise great job! I'll definitely be listening to one of these while I draw :smile:

    Idk man.
    They're great don't get me wrong, but a lot of them seem sampled. I can hear bits of one sound repeated in lots of other places around the songs. It's really good music and am listening to Past while I'm writing this because it's great, but a lot of them just sound repetitive. Try spicing things up by adding new layers to it as time progresses and changing melodies around. I think that this could make the songs a lot more interesting to listen to and more aurally appealing. Great job.
    Also, do you use samples or do you make all your sounds/melodies?

    The Rain is all original (well I used the same instruments but the pattern, style etc is unique) and something totally new to me, and yeah once I started listening it more times there are times where it's clustered like in the second build up. Past is really old and is a bunch of different samples that I thought sounded nice together, Downtown is literally a sample and a beat I made quickly. I do use samples to spice things up especially with hip hop inspired beats.
