It's just a thought honestly but Survival Games has been dead for almost about...2 years or so and honestly, I don't see why we shouldn't reboot it. To explain, I think we should bring back regular SG and hell maybe FPS SG though to be fair, it's sorta like WarZ in the first place. Anyways, being on top of the leaderboards for Regular SG for a while and having a fair share of games in FPSSG, here's some suggestions on how to alter the corruption. This is mainly going to apply for Regular SG but such things can cross over to FPSSG aswell.

    1. Smaller Deathmatch:

Deathmatch in SG was astonishingly awful. The map currently deployed in Kitbrawl used to be the SG deathmatch map and it had a time limit of about...5 minutes or so. The map was too big and open and enabled weaker players to either outrun their opponent the whole game or hide and troll until there's no winner to come. It was excruciatingly monotonous and often made having an actual fight on there more of cat and mouse then legitimate combat. How to fix this? A smaller circular Deathmatch arena, completely flat at the start with 10 minutes on the clock. At every minute interval, the outer ring falls out to a pit of lava. This would continue until there's only a small circle left at the 2 minute mark for the players to fight on with just enough distance for bow shots. Now you may ask "Well Slash, doesn't this give weaker players an advantage?" which I answer "Yes", however, it's a 50/50 for stronger players and well equipt who know how to hold their ground and the final circle should be enough for a full fledged fight.

    2. Kits Desperately Need Editing:

The Kit system was disgusting. They we're all at the same price and featured all potions at the time in splash form and increased in quality between Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III. The Tiers also came with swords so it would look something like this for example

Tier I: Wood Sword + 1 Regular Pot
Tier II: Stone Sword + 2 Regular Pots
Tier III: Iron Sword + 3 MKII Pots

Now though it doesn't look all that bad since "Oh well debuffs can harm the other player too and buffs can go on other players accidentally cause it's splash form", there's a drawback to this for with the good, usually comes the bad. There was a kit known as "Warrior" that featured strength pots. Now the Tier III threw the entire system off balance as all that it needed was to splash the pot on yourself and your pals and it's an almost instant 1 - 3 hit kill depending on the player's armor and it was even able to bypass enchanted golden apples rather well at maximum CPS. As for the other kits, they were almost complete trash in combat.

Solution? Item based kits. All kills in this case to make it balanced would equal 5 credits so it should look something like this. Though for the last one I got creative.

    Default: 1 Potato

    MK I Kits - 50 Credits

    Chef: 3 Bread Pieces
Cleric: 1 Splash Potion of Healing
    Technical: 1 Flint & Steel

MK II Kits - 250 Credits

CDC: 1 MKII Splash Potion of Regeneration and 1 MKII Splash Potion Of Poison
Exhausted: 1 Iron with 3 Hits Left and 1 Bow with 3 Arrows
Squire: 1 Leather Cap and 1 Wood Sword

MK III Kits - 350 Credits

Wildheart: 1 Sharpness I Stone Sword and 1 Knockback I Stone Sword
Marksman: 1 Power I Bow and 10 Arrows
Alpist: 10 Steak and 2 Ender Pearls

MK IV Kits - 550 Credits

Commando: 1 Iron Chestplate and 1 Stone Sword
Tactical: 3 TNT and 1 Splash Pot of Instant Damage II
Nurse: 2 Pots Of Regeneration II and 20 Melons

MK V Kits - 1000 Credits (specialty kits)

Aftermath: When player is killed, the killer and all within 3 blocks of the killer gain slowness III for a minute
Bull: Before invincibility runs out, player has speed III
Chain: Every kill grants the player 2 seconds of strength III

    3. FIX THE VOTING SYSTEM

The vote system was absolutely awful as it was all the maps listed yet only one or two maps (terminal and breeze) would come up, making the game incredibly repetitive. How to fix this is simple, really. Instead of having all the maps up at once, every reboot of a server brings 5 different maps at random out of 10 and every month the list of maps can be changed for new results. Honestly an easy fix and though it may not fix the problem completely it allows variation to breathe.

    -------

Honestly, thats it. If I left anything out or if you like the idea, comment or like this really. I'm not saying this is an overnight project but if Wildwest, Minestrike, and/or Skywars kicks the bucket I say bring this in.
