Story Valentines Day Massacre

Headquarters – San Jose - 2/13/16

My code name is @MR_EVIL_OVERLORD and I had just been in a fire fight with a small group of commandos, from Interpol, sent to arrest me.

Behind me, JKZoom pointed his pistol at the back of my head. In a calm deliberate fashion he said "If you move another inch, you die".

JKZoom didn’t know that I secretly brokered a deal with the US Government which granted me amnesty for all my crimes. The US Government engaged me to follow leads on the originator of the X-Virus. Little is known about the virus, except it kills, anf reanimates the carrier to near life status. The reanimated “zombies” then attack healthy people and spread the virus.

The early computer simulations that I ran showed that the virus if not contained would wipe out all of humanity within 90 days. I agreed to the proposal set forth by the US Government to investigate, combat, and end the virus. Naturally, I had a self-interest in continuing to live.

With a quick movement I engaged the boosters in my armor and vaulted over and around to behind JKZoom. My movements were so quick and he had been out of the game for so long he wasn’t prepared for me to be standing behind him with my pistol aimed at the back of his head.

I kicked him in the middle of his back knocking him 8 feet from his standing location. He landed on his face and instantly pulled out his other side arm and proceeded to roll over to his back while trying to aim for me. I moved forward, covering the ground quickly and deflected his first 2 shots. I punched him with a right cross while holding his pistol in my left hand.

I might have hit him a little too hard, he was out cold.

A few hours later in our command station. JKZoom regained consciousness. The chief medical doctor was attending his wounds. JKZoom was surrounded by military intelligence officers. They briefed him on the situation and my role as a primary investigator. The team was certain a super villain had created the virus and they were hoping that a super villain could stop a super villain who was manufacturing the zombie virus.

JKZoom listened intently as the team briefed him on the situation.

I had already started the next mission and the team assured me that he was ok…..albeit with a wicked headache.

My next mission had me investigating a Valentine’s Day dinner where one of the quests reanimated as a zombie and began attacking the rest of the customers.

After putting a bullet through everyone in the restaurant as they reanimate, I began to look for clues as to patient zero…..

Who created this virus?

Where does it come from?

And more importantly what is the cure?
