Story Deeps of Madness

[Fair warning, this gets pretty graphic]
It was on a foggy but warm day. Police are told to investigate a house in which neighbors complained of abductions of random people inside his house.

Approximately at 1200, the police arrive. They kick down the door as no one was there. They check throughout the house to find, nothing. Everything is located so perfectly and neatly organised.
Three Officers in the house, one Sheriff.
Suddenly, a voice is heard in a darkly manner

"Ah, my final demise is upon me in front of my own sickly disturbing place... Now listen closely...
I've searched for the long needed subject to under go my psionic abilities. None of them were able to withstand my capabilities... Shame."

"Sir, there's a trap door under this rug. We should go inspect it."

"I'm not too sure about this... We're facing up with a highly dangerous person."

"Ah naw! Us rookies can handle it."​

The Sheriff sighs and goes along with them, expecting horrific imaginations.
The voice speaks again,

"You've wondered into my work, ah my precious work... Do you seem to enjoy my work?"​

One of the Officers panics, they run into a room filled with bottles of acid, he runs into the shelf full of them, he dies as the acid eats through his heart.

"What a shame in humanity, the comparability of ones will isn't enough to test to further expectation. However the rare trait that is bestowal upon you, Sheriff.."

They proceed to move further on-wards towards this inhuman experiments done to test these people. Finding a pregnant female, dead with her fetus out on the surgical table, one of the remaining Officers panics.

"I can't take none of this anymore! I.. I've never seen such..horrific--"​

A loud shot is heard, soft soft noises being heard afterwards. The sound of pipes barely hanging, soft noises.

"What an issue that is found in every day life, the road I've crossed is one to never enjoy in ones normal life, countless times have I tried to figure out the human meaning with my psionic abilities to control someone completely to figure out if they can learn the meaning of life."

They finally find where he is located. He has a suit, no weapons, perfectly clean and menacing with his looks.

"Hello, Sheriff. What a lovely day we are having aren't we? Human consequences are irrelevant to me. They are simply reminders of how to do my job more perfectly.
Are you going to pull the trigger? Come on, do it. I know you can. Pull it goddammnit!"

There was a bang, his body falls to the floor as both the Sheriff and rookie Officer sigh in relief.

"It's done, it's over, it's finally over."​

There's a note on the desk. It reads in fancy but terrifying cursive.

"There's no end to the limitation of humanity."​

 

It's like, dark in a sense of that person conducting experiments to test ones will to deem worthy, in the sense of destroying someone physiologically. I put that little reminder at the top so no one has to complain "this is too dark for me".
This was an interesting story for me to write. The character was interesting as well, might experiment with that type more often in stories.
