    ...It is time to stop waiting and start playing. A pre-release of Minecraft 1.9 is now available. We are very excited to enter the final stage before the new version is released.


    First the answer to the most asked question: We are currently planning to release the final version of Minecraft 1.9 next week, on Thursday, 25th of February 2016...

    Any changes made by 1.9 to PVP can easily be removed by commands and plugins. Mojang had to do this otherwise the PVPers would start a riot.

    With 1.9 changes, soup pvp may disappear. Pvp will be slower and with soup a 1v1 would take minutes.

    I am kinda excited to see if the devs use a new texture on the shield to make it a riot shield in WarZ 2.0. So many new things could happen, it's exciting.

    Brawl better remove all 1.9 changes to PVP for HG. For no soup whatever, but for soup keep it this way
