This would completely ruin tracking. You could just run along a tracker and hold down your mouse. A lot of the tracking speed is reduced by breaking the blocks, thus balancing the system. -1 for sure, sorry.

 

How would that be easier than typing /track name? I don't really see too many flaws in the current tracking system.

 

So it would tell you the coord they are at? That would simplify things way too much. The math is fairly simple, and adds an extra challenge to tracking, which is needed.

0racle is right, the tracking has been there and will stay like that due to it because perfect. It uses the same grid format as Minecraft does and its simple Addition and Subtraction. If you can't track because of "Math", then sorry to say... Retake first grade. Plus you know, Calculators . It seems you are more of lazy than finding it hard. Honesty if anything needed to change make obsidian easier to mine! XD

I notice you have been throwing a lot of ideas around the server, which is great, but you are not thinking to hard about them or putting much thought into it. Also read a lot of past threads before suggesting something because a lot of other people might have already though of it.

//calc is there for a reason (or just part of world edit plugin but whatever). Tracking is simple enough - yes it can be confusing sometimes when building a tracker and working out lengths of arms etc - but what your suggesting is just plain bad.
