The Python

Sup Brawlers,

I wanted to write a piece on my favorite pistol…..The Python. Personally, I would have called this weapon the Viper. This is a fantastic all around weapon. This is one of the best guns you aren’t using.

This weapon takes time and skill to master. It can be used in a variety of situations. I find that I can use this weapon in infect and any other game mode.

In my opinion the Python gives you the best all around pistol with a decent clip, powerful shots, decent rang of shot, short reload, and high precision.

In my universe, I see the Python as a version of the Robocop’s pistol (the auto9). I love the Robocop movies, from the sci fi tech, to the armor, and especially the weapons.

The original Auto 9 Gun (1987) from my original texture pack (now this is the P90, to mimic the same type of firing style from the movie).

The best ways to use this gun are: 1) to use as a primary weapon with your Iso in reserve 2) as a secondary weapon to use when your Skully or other weapon is reloading 3) this weapon is great in infect. If you find zombies flanking you, you can slow them down with your pistol and buy your self some time to shoot them with your ray. I call this move a "strafe stop" because you can prevent a fast running zombie from running all the way around you, allowing you to engage them with your primary weapon.

In tight quarters: the best use of this gun is to clear rooms. This gun can punch through a number of people who are chasing you into a building.

I prefer to engage groups of attackers with this weapon first and then use my primary weapon. Typically, most attackers will use their primary weapon and then secondary. My technique reduces the chance they have to reload their primary and gives you a favorable match up when they get up personal.

Also, I never recommend standing out in the open....cause you get killed.
