Remove pointless and buggy Anti-Fly protection, or at least, revamp it.

In the past day, I've gotten stuck in a block either on relog or reboot due to Minecraft being Minecraft. Normally, I'd be able to force myself out like most people usually can when they glitch into a block. This can take somewhere between 5 seconds and 20 seconds. However, the ridiculous anti-fly protection on Wild West kicks me with the message "Kicked for flying (or related)" before I have a chance to do so. In fact, the second I join it kicks me. I get perhaps a tenth of a second to see the ground before I immediately get kicked to the lobby. I've had to contact staff 2 times today because of this, and one of those matters took 20 minutes to resolve.

Another caveat of this anti-fly protection is the prevention of block-glitching. Yes, I can see the sometimes-malicious intent in block-glitching, but again, I've gotten myself stuck at least 2 times today in a 2x1 hole, especially at drug farms where 2x1 holes are plentiful. Twice I've had to get staff to get me out.

I have a strong feeling that neither of these things were intended for the anti-fly protection, and whatever y'all have on other gamemodes such as CTF works brilliantly (except on sponges...), and I'm tired of having to drop what I'm doing to contact staff and fix the position I'm in. I don't mean to be rude, it's just extremely annoying and can sometimes result in my death when I'm short of time and there are others around me.

Right now, as an example, I'm glitched into a block and unable to join the Wild West server because of the reasons stated in paragraph one. Seeing as my /support requests are not being responded to, I doubt that there are any staff online to fix my issue, and let's just say I'm in an area I'd rather not be in for an extended amount of time on Wild West. This means I'll have to wait for a staff member to fix my problem, which could take hours as it is morning in America. Do y'all see where I'm coming from now?

I put this in Server Ideas because it's not exactly a bug report, however, if it is one, please feel free to move this thread to Bug Reports.

Please don't take offense to my harsh wording; I'm just trying to emphasize how big of an issue this is. Hopefully within the next day or so, something can be done to resolve this ridiculous waste of time. Thank y'all for taking the time to read this.

 

Oh, don't worry, I'm very familiar with them as a long-time member of CTF. This however doesn't concern bans.
