HG pregame

I support this. Fighting other players with stone swords and soup will prepare players for the game they are about to play much more than a full iron fight.

 

Iron Armor w/ Diamond Sword is kind of more standards, stone swords with no armor are kind of crazy xD. Although I do believe there's not much of a difference. If you just take off a bit of your armor it would probably do the same damage. It's also a pre-game, not a practice, you don't need to mimic what happens in the game, or else you would just see repition. Also the fact that people also have wooden swords...

 

Generally players get stone swords before they pvp in hg. I do agree however with your poiny on repetition. I guess it's just personal preference.

How does a longer fight with more armor and stronger weapons present a more active and entertaining battle? I would think a battle with no armor and stone swords would be more active due to the fact that it would be harder to stay alive due to being able to be killed quickly while refilling once you get a few kills. With iron armor it pretty much allows one player to take over by having the most soup as it is much harder to kill someone that is refilling in full iron compared to a player with no armor.

 

And what about those teams that keep killing each other to get the iron sword buff. When you play No Soup HG the iron sword is an incredible advantage.
I propouse that you can kill a player just once. So the player that has killed the most quantity of different players earns the iron sword. I know that there will be more ties, but this is better than a duo stacking kills.

 

Iron armour and diamond swords will be more entertaining as it lasts longer, but stone sword no armour is more realistic, and more intense

 

I think the iron sword is a stupid idea and should be removed completely from the game because the person who gets the sword is normally either killing his friend over and over again, which is cheating, is hacking, which is also cheating or is just very good. Why would you want to make someone already very good even more op? Furthermore why would you want to reward hackers and cheats with an op sword? It's just not fair.

The arena should be a nice pass time to practice if you don't want to scout out the map, not a competition that gives you an op sword at the beginning of the game. The competition begins when the game begins.
