Idea Read Before Building Maps

    If you are planning to build a map for MinecraftParty be sure to follow the directions below. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to message me on the forums.

    Make sure all areas are centered on 0, 0 and -0, -0 (unless they are not square/circle shaped)

    Dead End:
    Floor must be gold block with bedrock directly under it
    Usual floor size: 100x100

    Falling Sand:
    Usual floor size: 50x50

    Hot TNT
    Usual arena size: 50x50 (inside area)

    Chicken Game:
    Usual arena size: 50x50 (inside area)

    Diamond Mine:
    Usual dig area: 50x50

    Red Alert:
    Floor must be wool
    Usual floor size: 50x50

    Snowball Fight:
    Snow layers are needed
    Usual area size: 90x90 (inside area)

    Spleef:
    Floor must be snow block with bedrock directly under it
    Usual floor size: 100x100

    One in the Chamber:
    The spawn points are signs with first line "OITC" and second line "spawn"
    Usual area size: 100x100 (inside area)

    King of the Hill:
    Standing on wool gives you points

    Paint Match:
    All wool is turned to the colored paint blocks

    Rainbow Jump:
    The spawn point is at 0, 0
    The finish line must be in the positive Z direction, it's triggered once the player hits that coordinate

    Red Light, Green Light:
    The spawn point is at 0, 0
    The finish line must be in the positive Z direction, it's triggered once the player hits that coordinate
    Usual length of running area: 135

    Minefield:
    The spawn point is at 0, 0
    The finish line must be in the positive Z direction, it's triggered once the player hits that coordinate
    Usual length of pressure plate area: 90

    Shoot the Sheep:
    Players have to spawn in a line the same length as the sheep fall line

    Wipeout:
    Don't

    If the gamemode isn't listed / Misc:
    • Any size, try to make it a equal distance centered around 0, 0
    • If the game depends on a square (stuff falling from the sky), it probably has to remain a square
      • Diamond Mine, Falling Sand Game, Musical Minecarts, etc
