Native Camp Improvement

    So right now the natives will attack on sight, which I think should be changed. Instead of being hostile, the natives should be neutral. and only be triggered upon,
    1. The player attacked one of the natives.
    2. The player opened one of the natives chests.
    So it doesn't entirely remove raiding native camps, but that's not all I thought of. With this idea, native camps won't have to be raided to gain loot.

    New NPC - Indian Merchant

    The indian merchant would be a skeleton in full indian armour, labeled as an 'Indian Merchant.'
    Although if the NPC has to be a villager, that's fine. The indian merchant will be a bartering NPC that offers the buyer items that can only be found in Native Camps for an amount of gold ounces. I will list the items the NPC should sell below.
    • Indian Bow (3500g)
    • Arrows (10g)
    • Bowie Knife (250g)
    • Indian Helmet (900g)
    • Indian Chestplate (1150g)
    • Indian Leggings (1050g)
    • Indian Boots (850g)
    • Cooked Fish (15g)
    I will hopefully add to this thread soon, and I'd like to here your ideas. :smile:

    If Native camp mobs do change to neutral, I hope we keep at least 2 of the farther away ones with Aggressive mobs, and perhaps give their chests more rewarding loot.

    Good merchant idea. Would be interesting to see a Native Horse too, but I am not sure what niche it would occupy, we already have a good selection of horses.

    Example: The Native Merchant is at the closer camps (like Kootenai) and the closer camps are Neutral until Attacked. If you wear Full Indian armor, the farther Aggressive camps (Shawnee and Ponca) do not agro until Attacked as well, and you can buy the Horse from an Indian Horse Trader who is at those Aggressive camps.
