Map adjustments to "head shot"

So we are all aware that war will be replaced with "head shot". Maps have always been a huge part of this server and I just want to get some things clarified. So mc war was always based on Call of Duty map remakes and game modes. With this shift, will the mapping community need to adjust to any map requirements at all? I'm asking this because there are a lot of fantastic builders out there and I want them to create the best maps there is out there to play. Hence, will the mapping system be the same or will custom maps be the way to go over Call of Duty map remakes?
