    I just thought of this in idea in class and decided to share it with you guys. For those of you who don't know what shrapnel is, they are pieces of metal that most explosives have to kind of be another danger from explosives. How will we make this work in Minecraft you ask? Well they could be retextured eggs that look like shards of metal. The damage could be around 7(edit: I'll change it to around 4 hearts since everyone says it would be too op) hearts if one hits you.

    I thought maybe grenades, Law rockets and c4 could all have a different amount of shrapnel launched from it. e.g:

    Law rockets: 9

    C4: 7

    Grenades: 8

    No, this isn't in CoD so it isn't in McWar.
    Besides, 7 heart damage would be OP as hell.

    You have a point about that it isn't in COD but only 7-9 pieces are going to be launched which means that there is a very low chance of getting hit by one.

    7-9 pieces is a lot and sorry, it it isn't in real CoD it won't be added :L

    Personally, I like this idea. Just because it isn't in CoD doesn't mean it will not be added.

    I have heard it from a mod himself that if it isn't in real CoD it won't be added. I like this idea otherwise.

    This is a bit OP. Maybe 3 pieces and they have a 30% chance of appearing?

    This would be very broken cause everyone then wants to use laws c4 and grenades to kill people.
    For an example, say someone fires a law into a 10x10 empty spot with walls, (lets say the shrapnel can't bounce) and the shrapnel flies in prob 9 ways, that can kill a whole team of 8 in like 2-4 shots, so that will be very op, but I do agree a bit with gamemaster800, maybe make the chance of it appearing like 45%, maybe 40%. Still good idea tho.

    Why you guys always putting down good ideas?
    This idea is actually good, it just needs some tweaking.
    Like, the damage done by the shrapnel should be lowered, and most likely will be lowered if they take this idea into consideration. That is all that I really need to say on this one. I like everything else.
